- i have so many emotions about disbarred phoenix. look at him. he's got depression
ok for real tho, 100% did not expect my first ever animatic to be for a fandom i've been in for like a month, but here we are! the process was painful (p a i n f u l) and i've never used so many roundabout tricks my whole life, but i actually really ended liking the final thing. there's a lot of mistakes (mostly anatomy, which i will never learn) but i think for a first try i did pretty ok lol
anyways yeah!! hope y'all enjoyed this. probably won't be doing another proper animatic for a long, long time, but i might do some silly little animations here and there, and upload them here. let's see!!

wow, this really made me appreciate how dark Phoenix's journey was while we were gone... instead of the joy and energy that hit us with those close to him being bright and energetic, while we were gone he had these awfully sinister characters in his company, and an "almost" orphaned child to look after
I love how even at the end, Phoenix is crying, despite there being no apparent reason to, because that's how depression works. He's won, Kristoph has been exposed, Vera has been found not guilty, he should be happy.
But he's not, he doesn't feel anything. He feels the same as he did when he was at his lowest. Numb
I just got to play Apollo Justice and it was very good, and I'm debating playing Dual Destinies on IOS instead of my other "totally legitimate" way of playing Ace Attorney game.
I started this comment to poke fun and say "They sentenced a man they interacted with daily for seven years to death they should be happy"
I have ideas for fics but no idea what comes next in the story... They're isolated to Apollo Justice.

uggghhhh this is so good, the world needs more AA4 appreciation, it simply does not get enough credit for how much of an emotional rollercoaster it is, not to mention the addition of some of the best characters in the franchise. your art is phenomenal! i'd love to see more AA stuff from you :)

Wow. This was REALLY good and an absolutely incredible highlight of the timeskip. All of the little ways you illustrate Phoenix spiraling into depression and isolating himself from the trilogy cast is so coherent and horrible and perfect. Wow. This makes me want to replay AA4 right now.

I reblogged a silly little happy phoenix disbarrment day earlier today in jest and now I'm crying over this! We don't get much from the 7 year gap other than Phoenix reflecting that looking back it was very dark time I his life and his enjoyment of "grape juice" but you really managed to convey what it must have been like for him to live through this! Especially Maya and Miles trying to reach out to him, but Phoenix not responding really struck a nerve. Ouch, great work!
