      Hey, I'm getting this procedure done in July with stem cell therapy. I found that going on realself was a big help. Hundreds of before and after photos with break downs over the weeks and months without implants.

      @@politicalnubian24 Please do tell! How did it go? Did you get good results, and which doctor did you go to? I had fat transfer to breasts in february and I had asked if they used stem cells and they said no. Regardless it was $15k down the drain which I regret so much. I barely retained anything. It feels like my breasts increased by a tablespoon. I want to go for round 2 because I really don't want implants but I really want breasts and I wanna try a different doctor who has better techniques and results AND uses stem cell therapy

    I've wanted this surgery for the last few years. I still go back and forth and try to love my body as is. Ps: most bodies dont like losing weight because our metabolism can't tell the difference between famine and diet. Refocus on the quality of what you eat, dont be discouraged. Youre stunning

    • @amaiaamaiaa
      @amaiaamaiaa Před 3 měsíci +1

      i don’t get what you mean. If your body thinks your in famine, it’ll use the resources it already has (your fat) and burn it to survive. I’m not saying to starve yourself, but CICO works

    • @stephaniepantalonie
      @stephaniepantalonie Před 3 měsíci

      @amaiaamaiaa you are partially correct. When you eat less, your metabolism slows significantly because your body needs to use the (fewer) calories you're ingesting more efficiently for your survival

    • @amaiaamaiaa
      @amaiaamaiaa Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@stephaniepantalonie but it also uses your reserves… if you are eating in a deficit you will lose weight.

    • @stephaniepantalonie
      @stephaniepantalonie Před 3 měsíci

      @amaiaamaiaa again, yes, you will lose weight. However, the body is still in starvation mode with a much slower metabolism, which is why most people regain the weight (and then more) when they reach their desired weight and start eating normally again.

    • @amaiaamaiaa
      @amaiaamaiaa Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@stephaniepantalonie IDK i'm sorry, i'm not trying to be combative. I'm sure what you're saying is true and that metabolism plays some part, but a large part of why people gain weight after getting out of a deficit diet is that they overestimate their new TDEE. You can't go back to eating "normally" because the amount you need to maintain your new weight has lowered. Your metabolism “slowing down” is really just your TDEE (amount needed to maintain current weight) getting lower which happens when you lose weight and your body has less fat to maintain. If you accurately assess your new BMR and new TDEE, you won't gain weight back if you actually eat that amount of calories. I lost 30 lbs and kept it off.

    I'm going in on Weds 5/1 for liposuction, fat grafting & scar revisions...
    I was diagnosed with breast cancer in '22 & had a mastectomy... Currently going through reconstruction surgeries...
    I wasn't at all interested in any type of silicone or saline implants so I underwent a DIEP Flap surgery(😱).. I describe a DIEP Flap surgery as a combination of a C-section & a tummy tuck together with artery & blood vessel transfers from your stomach muscle to your breast areas, using the extra tummy fat & skin to reconstruct new breasts... It's an amazing surgery with extremely natural looking & feeling breasts... At the beginning, it totally sucked!!! It's not for the faint of heart... I was in the OR for 14 hours with 4 surgeons; 2 working on my stomach & the other 2 prepping my chest area for the new breasts...
    I was in the SICU for only 6 hours after my 14 hour surgery when my left (new) breast formed a blood clot so back to the OR I went to correct the blood clot for another 7 hours...
    I ended up being in the SICU for 2 weeks before finally being discharged...
    It was rough for the 1st month of recovery but I am so happy with the results-absolutely amazing...!!!
    My surgery next week is the ending road; surgery #5 of 8 to be completely finished (I hope🤞)...!!!
    I've listened to several of your videos when you had your Lipo & fat grafting done...
    I keep telling myself if I made it through that last DIEP Flap surgery, I CAN do this one!!!
    I might have to have several of these surgeries though...🤦
    Thanks for posting...
    And...
    Love your raw honesty too!!!

    First... I LOVE you candor! Thank you for sharing you journey as candidly as you have!
    I loved my breast, always been blessed (DDs) HOWEVER, time & gravity can be brutal! 😭 I'd lost a significant amount of weight (approx 40-50lbs) & my breast flattened. 🥞😢 I think it bothered me so much subconsciously that I gained back the weight & so my breast filled back in... kinda. Watching your vlogs has me motivated to lost the weight again & do a fat transfer to "fill-in" the gaps & get the stubborn area too!
    In your research, is it reasonable not to experience fat lose once it's been transferred?

    Thank you for sharing your journey. I've been debating on the fat transfer. I know when i was running and going to the gym, my chest size never changed, whether I lost or gained, that was the one spot that never changed. 😅
    I considered the transfer because I didn't want a huge breast change, and I also have a tendency to be allergic to everything so I didn’t want to be concerned about rejection and keloids with larger scars.

    girl, you have a bangin body. You have the best figure, thats the figure of a woman (I currently have the figure of a prepubescent boy).
    Also for weight loss, which I don't think you really need to be worrying about (you have to do these things for the rest of your life, its a non-stop process, which to me is miserable) It's more about diet and caloric deficit until you lose the desired amount of weight, then for the rest of your life it's like strict eating habits etc etc. To me that just sounds awful, so I wouldn't even worry about it. If you've struggled to lose weight and you've kept gaining and losing the same 5 pounds over and over again; then I would assume, that's how your normal healthy body is. No need to change it girl, you're beautiful just the way you are forreal. I would kill someone to look like you.

    Unfortunately, working out with a PT is almost going to guarantee poor results because there certification is a joke. They focus on constantly switching exercises to stay relevant and 'feeling the burn'. They would not make much money if they would just let girls do squats and hip thrusts, maybe throw in some back work like pulldown and rows to help improve posture to alleviate neck problems which a lot of girls have.
