I feel like RDR had better shooting animations than GTA V. The AI seems to live for a few seconds after being shot which has more of that old western movie feel.
+nater51 yeah but i hate that its very unrealistic for me. i actually like the gta 5 euphoria engine. gta 4's was pretty good too. i just wish that in all the games with the euphoria engine didn't make the characters stagger when getting shot, i also wish the character's body's should have more weight to them.

the only unrealistic thing about red dead is the force of the bullets, irl bullets dont throw people, they dont move them at all, but i guess for a game to be a bit fun they had to crank it up, everything else, is realistic, when an animal gets shot they move around aloot, even when theyre shot in the hear, its cuz the muscles react and the brain isnt working so it doesnt know what to do, i could imagine the same for people too, they might move around alot, (but not move around as in ape shit) just like in the game, i just wish gta 5 couldve been like real life or atleast like red dead
