I own X700 duality original in blue burst. I love the feel of the neck and stainless steel frets. The Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz have interesting tones so I kept them in it. I usually prefer DiMarzio pickups like Norton because they have warmth and good clarity. The Fluence Classics seem very nice here. Most active pickups have a very bright attack that I don't like but these seem different, unless you are doing some post processing to warm up the sound.
Yes the Fluence Classics have rounded warm tone but fast spank and attack great to fast techniques like alternate picking, sweeps, legato and tapping, give them a try!!!

@@HedrasmusicI purchased a Cort X700 Duality ii in Lava Burst, like you have in this video. I received it a week ago and I can't stop playing it. I love the way it sounds and of course it's very comfortable to play like the original X700 duality. I never thought I would like active pickups but these Fluence Classics are amazing. They are very clear and articulate, but they are also warm, thick, dynamic, and very organic sounding. I'm blown away! I'm also impressed by how good each voicing sounds. I like the hot rod voice 2 (tone pot up) for progressive metal. The PAF voice 1 is great for 70's & 80's rock and hard rock. The singlecoil voice 3 in switch positions 2 & 4 sound amazing for clean, blues, and spanky Poliphia sounds. Thank you very much for creating such a beautiful guitar with Cort. Cheers!

Duality is ash body, JAzz and jb duncan pickups, Duality II is Magohany body with fluence open core pickups I like duality II better!
