- Just as the title implies, this is a HUGE sort through my massive vintage diecast Hot Wheels collection. There are bins full of toy cars and trucks, many of which are highly collectible and even quite rare. Most of these collectibles are 30 to 50 years old, and all are in played with condition. There are blackwalls, redlines, hot ones, Lesney, Matchbox, Majorette, Yatming, Husky, Racing Champions, Ertl, Kenner, and so many more amazing old toys from yesteryear. Check it all out, this is a long video but there is just TONS of stuff to look at. Take yer time! :)

Those 70's black-wall HW's are so iconic! They were a big part of my childhood back then. Almost everyone I knew had a fire engine and a top-fuel dragster with a hinged body that opened up.
It’s amazing to hear you rattle off so much info on so many cars. Love your passion for the hobby, your collection is beyond impressive and I really appreciate you sharing it and spending so much of your time to do so!

It’s amazing to hear your near encyclopedic knowledge of hot wheels spanning decades but that you don’t dabble in redlines enough to know light my firebird right off the bat. I mean it’s a universe all it’s own and way harder to collect the spectraflame cars so I totally understand. I started with redlines and I’m now learning blackwalls and everything that came after.
Every time I watch your videos I have a better appreciation for my older worn out hot wheels 👍thanks again for the entertainment

Sweet pieces out there! I hoard matchbox police and fire vehicules for my stop motion video, so you're not the only one in Canada hoarding lot of toycars!! I do have a couple of boxes with hoarded hw greyhound buses, steering rigs and 1960s lesney matchbox trucks!
I enjoy you showing off your collection you're very dedicated to it it's a passion I enjoy car collecting it's my biggest passion more than anything you have helped me learn more about variations different windows on cars the Hong Kong and Malaysia base and you are right a lot of cars are getting harder to find things are drying up that's why it's important to keep what you have and never give it up

17:46:. I think that was as Ex Corgi casting from 1996 or 1997 which several of them ended up in the mainline

One way I organize my older hotwheels is bodystyle, what I would do is put all the camaros and firebirds together because they all feature the same style of rear bubble hatchback window.

My all time favorite HW Car is the Twang Thang line. And my most favored one from that is the Rockin Rods edition which I think came out in 1998

The Matchbox Fire Chief is from the early 80’s. I had one as a kid. Since I grew up in the 80’s & 90’s

Love it! Curious how did you mount the cases to the walls? Are they Plano cases? I store my collection in Plano’s but they are in bigger bins right now.
Yes they are plano cases, model 5324. You can see how I mount them to a wall in one of my tutorial videos. Just check from my main page on CZcams channel, Search how I display my Hot Wheels from within my channel.

No not selling anytime soon... I enjoy collecting these cars and you'll see why in a video not too far away. I have preserved these cars throughout my life collecting them from flea markets and discount stores, certainly saving most of them from a demise much worse than chilling in my Hot Wheels Museum!!! There is no shame here. Get out and find them just the way I do. It's fun.
@@wtffor don't worry mate I do . infact I had a tone of Matchbox cars in the 70s but unfortunately they got lost most of them throughout time but still have a few and now I'm collecting again . The only problem here in Australia there's not much like in the U.S . You will need to do a video on the wall collection and take your time videoing them

The yellow T-Bird at 32:44. Just curious if you know anything about a manufacturer mistake pertaining to that specific casting. Specifically the little round windows towards the back of the roof. I have one that has an indentation that would suggest starting drill the hole for that little window but not going all the way through. Just curious if you've ever come across a mistake like that in your "happy hunting"😁
There are 2 variations of that t-bird, one with a portal window and 1 without. I've never seen 1 with just it half drilled. Might be quite rare!
@@wtffor thanks for your input. It's far from mint but it's okay. I'll be sure to hang on to it for now in any event 🙂 I actually have several of that casting so I was aware of the some with the little window and some without. I tried to do research on the one with the half drilled window. See if it was in fact a noted manufacturer mistake but came up with nothing.

I have a question since you have obviously seen your fair share of hot wheels. I have a 1967 silhouette with a blue teal color body and the base is the emerald green or dark sparkly green. It does not appear to ever have been messed with and seems to be factory is that something you have seen before. I am 53 years old I was playing with these things fresh from Kmart back in the day.. lol
I don't collect Hot Wheels that old, so I'm not familiar with it. But it sounds like a beauty!

I buy them in boxes , bags storage unit auctions, yard sales. Cheap. Nobody in my area even bothers with them. I have them piled in corner of my living room. Let me tell you one day I said wonder how much it all weighs. Went in basement and found a house jack folded. So I been dispearcing the weight .
Then I started coming across bins of carded stuff from people that had stores that went out of business and they been selling them off. All brands all carded and packages. Too much to list.

Start selling it man because this is a Great risk that if you die all your efforts are going to be under the use of the others,sell them ,all we gather left here on earth only a dead body empty handed goes to the graveyard
I appreciate your comment, however respectfully I must disagree on needing to sell before I die... which I hope is still decades and decades away ( I am only 40) .... I do realize we can't bring 'stuff' with us into the afterlife, at least not material stuff, but while in this mortal skin-bag I do enjoy collecting, organizing, and sharing what I find with others here on CZcams, as well as interacting with folk like yourself :) When I do pass one day, I know many collectors will be happy to find my items somehow whether it be at a Thrift store or auctioned off on eBay by a consignment company, or maybe even the public can view it in a museum one day. Too far away for planning at this stage in my life.
I am praying that you and the likes of you will have time to tackle the cars by connecting with the person from the bank to provide the authority to send the activity to under your preference party if any! who can carry this all and did not waste anything ,keep the fun goes on , i highly appreciate your this much collection ,specially duplicate cars attracts me , but i disagree that you are waiting to be an old man and then decided what to do ,"Thrift store" it's all up to yourself that you may organized the planing in your life to set these slowly for sale , and auction them all means to me that your family will do that ones you passed (Extremely excuse me by saying this but many wouldn't taking death seriously ) which is Very bad choice , i am 45 and i am realising this so i am selling them slowly to the people and send them as gifts , just keep in mind about the bank authorization system which enables to send the property in any form to the next party whom you preferred , may i have someday a friend like you then he guides me and i guides him as a true friend.
