This music is absolutely godly. I never had the opportunity to play the legend of heroes series...however, I know the OSTs by heart because Ive listened too much. The music is too good and I get immersed instantly in my own imagination and creativity... Thank you Falcom jdk for your work.

Most of falcom 's boss theme are mood booster for me (hearing too many of their songs while driving) and i wish one day i get a chance to play whole Legend of heroes

The third game of this arc is also amazing (Trails Into Reverie, which is for 90% in crossbell with the entire SSS gang and NO ONE IS A GUEST CHARACTER ANYMORE F**** YEAH)
Outstanding arrangement, a true masterpiece. Amazing to see how many composers and performers it took only for this one track. Absolutely love the guitar solos alternating here.

such a wonderful arrangement. the vocals, the wailing riffs, the awesome melody lines and progression, it just shines as a climactic melodic journey of good versus evil. and I love it so much. hats off to these dudes and gals who made this song possible.
The music made me be able to get through the games overs from playing in Nightmare on the first playthrough.
And at first yeah, it was a real nightmare lol.
I beat ari on hard, i can't imagine how it is on nightmare. She took me i remember 36 tries to beat in the course of 3 hours, and kea took me 40 minutes of spending all like... 20 of my ex orbs, the ones that give you turns. I was stockpiling them through the course of ao to use them in the final boss.
Good god, you did a non-NG+ run of this game on Nightmare? I had trouble enough with this boss on a NG+ Hard run...
The most stress inducing boss fight i have fought in a while. Really cool fight thou.
And of course this song is bloody amazing too.the metal guitar and shit is wonderful.
This is a very good song to end the crossbell games on as it feels like it embodies the spirit of the entire ost.

The beginning part of this EVO track reminds me of Ace Combat
5:32 Love that guitar solo and the transition to the vocal part after it. Especially how it picks up on intensity more and more, culminating in an impressive opera esque segment. The definitive version of Azure Arbitrator if you'd ask me.
The original Azure Arbitrator did this part much better.

@@DesMondesBlut that was a trick response, because the part you described is exactly how the original Azure Arbitrator played that part out.
@@arczeum7921 No offense, but that's just not true. The Evo version accentuates the guitar in the mix much stronger giving the guitar solo much more room to breath (in the original there is a thicker layer of a synth orchestra over the guitar solo instead which I don't particularly like as it weakens the guitars impact) and they actually have real drums here whereas the original version uses synth drums. Especially the finale of the song has a really nice drumming part that just doesn't have the same intensity in the original composition. In general the Evo version is much cleaner/natural sounding.
@@DesMondesBlut and that's where the problem lies for me. I hate the guitar here in the Evolution version, because it is too extra, whereas in the original, the constraint on the guitar makes it feel more impactful for me as other instruments and synths get room to jam out and contribute.
Also I absolutely despise the nonsensical guitar solo in the middle of this song.

The drums are alot better in the original that's my only caveat with this aside from that it's a great arrangement.
Shame they didn't use this version in Hajimari.
I personally prefer the original track so I don’t mind it to much. But it would be cool to still hear it, maybe on like a face two of the last battle or something.

its a updated remake for the PSVita, since the original was released in 2012 on the PSP and obviously support for the console was dropped. Think of it as a transition from PS2 to PS3.

Yukihiro Jindo (despite not being part of the Falcom Sound Team JDK) is ONE of the BETTER arranger.
He tends to work with OLDER members of the JDK Band.
He had better works, especially in YsIX
Between Ernst, the OG Azure Arbitrator, the Zero and Cold Steel 1 Super Arranges, and more, Jindo is an absolute king when it come to arranging Falcom's music.
@@MaskedKingDavid Yeah, in all honesty I think Singa is better suited to creating new tracks than arranging currently existing tracks (Obstructive Existence from SC was... Something.)

Jindo has been around since 2003 (credited in Ys 6)
Singa roughly 2015 (Think he worked on tokyo Xanadu...)
Ther is a reason why Singa isn't as good as Jindo. Of course might also be because jindo specializes in orchestral pieces whereas Singa EDM...
I like the intro of the song they did an amazing voice with the choir, the first part up to 3:34 is great, but then they completly lost me, past 3:34 up to the repeat I think it sucks and feel totally out of place.
That's like... the best part of the whole thing for me. My jaded metalhead self can't comprehend how people dislike chunky aggressive riffing and quality shredding.

@@zmapp4732 Uhh, mostly because it feels out of place (the problem with a lot of EVO track to me). Like, it sounds good, can’t deny that, it just isn’t fit the atmosphere of the track well....
The guitar in the original compliments well to the choir to create a sense of epicness and follow the general motif of the track. This part in this ver has like a completely different melody, disconnecting it from the rest of the track, especially the choir before and after that it supposed to compliment, and its extended length overwhelms other instruments, especially the choir, makes it more “hype” than necessary.

I think this is actually a really good evo version, the only sucky part is that they removed that guitar solo at the end. Also the part at 3:35 is kind of weird, I didn't like it at first but now I think it's weird in a good way. The original felt quite triumphant there but this one subverts your expectation, like you _really_ don't know what you're in for.
