Im glad they finally upgraded to s45vn or magnacut in 63-64rc. While they did have an optimal heat treat for s35vn, it really wasnt worth the costs at 600 - 700. I like the large senenza better than most of their other models.
Prior to 2016 they were too soft and not worth the money.

Zaan. I have 4 Hinderers. 2 24s and 2 18s. Hinderers do not come sharp. And even if you sharpen them the edge geometry is horrible. I won’t buy another hinderer and am selling the ones I have.
