- Headphone track.
SOMA has accepted 2 of my tracks for their upcoming compilation.
This is one of the two, and I have spent the last 2 days balancing the mix and increasing the fidelity.
The second piece is "Achlys" and I will publish another version of the mix once I get time to finalize it this weekend.
Sound experimentation is an exciting adventure that invites us to rethink the concept of music, to expand our sonic horizons and to open ourselves up to new creative experiences. It is an invitation to let ourselves be guided by curiosity and the desire to discover, to immerse ourselves in a sound universe without borders, where imagination and creativity reign supreme.
Amazing work man!!!
I'm glad you dug it, Marcus!
This piece and the next piece I am publishing are older tracks you've heard. I'm just dialing in my mix a bit for the SOMA release. I think I am happy with this, but I will be doing a second mix for speaker rather than headphones.
I'm still waiting for things to ship out to me so I can begin working on new pieces. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to recording here soon
Wonderful ghostly soundtrack material. ❤
Glad you dug it! I am happy with this mix.
This is a demo of my larger outdoor project I will be working on this spring/summer :)
Abyyssss! A very curious track, without bass, pure research and experimentalism, your tracks are always special!
Hey Maurizio!
Thanks for listening. This one you've actually listened to before a couple of months ago.
My next track is also going to be a track you've already heard, and it's just getting some mix touch ups and balancing for release with SOMA.
I should be back to recording new pieces shortly. I've been busy at the studio, and the season is ramping up. My time is pretty divided at the moment, and I'm STILL waiting for my Lyra-8 to ship
really gorgeous subtlety and detail! gratitude! 🙏
Pltk!
It's great to see you!
I'm glad you enjoyed this. It's probably a far cry from my original posting on the MOD forums, haha.
I spent some time refining some skills, and I think I'm finally getting close to being decent at mixing haha.
These tracks are difficult to make due to the volume.
This track peaked at -8.1 dbTP and is -30.1 LUFS integrated. I'm hoping there is zero ear fatigue and pristine and dynamic sound :)
@@AbyssalPantheon love those numbers... always delighted to see folks not afraid to put out things on the softer side, with lots of space and near-silence!
Agreed haha. I have been working on making dynamic mixes with as little ear fatigue as possible. It's been a lot of fun developing my own techniques
Interesting 🤘🏽. Especially the later half, very nice
Thanks K-ORA!
I think I'm pretty happy with this mix and will send it to SOMA once they are ready for it.
this is great, congratulations, looking forward to the other track.
Thanks, Roger!
How did the clarity of this sound? I had to make some adjustments from the version I published a few months back, but I think I was able to improve the overall quality and it feels a lot closer to my original vision
It's really cool what happens to her, I had to press pause for a moment, I thought some noises were coming from outside. But that wasn't the case. You even forget that you have headphones on. Very good👌🎧✨🤍💫
Hey YeLLGo!
I am glad you took some time to listen to an older piece, I've re-mixed and balanced.
I think this mix is high enough quality to be comfortable giving to SOMA for release.
I think the Achlys SOMA mix came out okay, but I am waiting to address any new mixes until I have had some time for my ear to recover.
I hope to be recording new work sometime next week with some new sound sources :)
@@AbyssalPantheongreat work 👌🎧✨🤍💫
Really lovely sounds. I can see why Soma picked it. Hopefully this will get you some more recognition 🍌
Thanks, MP!
This is all microphone audio and time based effects to add movement and tension. This is the first true piece of the Abyssal Pantheon Project. I want to have 4 different albums in the project, that touch on different themes. This is the electroacoustic one focusing on nature and perception.
I am pretty happy with the mix, and I think it's much more detailed than my original demo submission.
Are you going to publish the Astral Projectionist track on youtube?
