It’s very common and not a sign of life at all though is often misinterpreted by laymen as such. Even aside from that, JFK could never have functioned on any level with half his brain blown out. At best, he would have been a half-conscious invalid, unable to walk or talk or experience life in any meaningful way. I think it would have been a fate worse than death, had the docs in Dallas somehow pulled it off.
Clint Hill, the secret service agent who along with Jackie had the best view of the dire situation JFK was in, publicly stated that the hole in the presidents head was empty of brain matter immediately after the fatal shot. He knew that he was dead well before Parkland. (as did the priest before administering last rites). Can't believe everything you read!

Jeromewade...he already was! He was slow on civil rights, a rabid anti-communist who escalated the Vietnam war in its early stages. (although some say he was on his way to changing his tune when he died). This idea of JFK being a raging liberal is inaccurate.

JFK didn't die at Parkland, he died the second that fatal shot hit him in the backseat of that motorcade.
