Nice! I was ten years old when Billy Joel dropped his fifth studio album, The Stranger. It's full of hits -- "Just the Way You Are", "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)", "She's Always a Woman", and "Only the Good Die Young" among them. I remember listening to it in the summer sitting in the back seat in my buddy's older sister's car on the drive to the lake in the mountains. She probably had it on 8-track tape, but I wasn't paying attention to details like that back then. One nice aspect of those classic Billy Joel albums was that the deeper cuts grew on you after a while, until it got to the point where you liked them better because the hits were all played out. "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" is one of those songs. That middle passage with the "woa-ohs" hits the spot.

I just saw Billy Joel in concert last month and posted some videos from the show on my channel. He looks totally different considering he is totally bald now lol. Also he has the same saxophone player in the band.

Mark Rivera is the saxophone player in this concert from 1982 and was the newest band member at the time Billy was promoting his then current album The Nylon Curtain, which Mark did not even play on during the studio recording.
He is now the longest serving member of Billy's current band and the only one remaining from this show.
