I had to evacuate for the Ruidoso New Mexico Forest Fires. I was displaced for 11 days. Thank God my home was safe by one house to the side of me and one house behind me. The fire was that close ...Only God! ✝️✝️✝️✝️😁👋🏼💞

I was in Santa Fe, NM, last week and the weather was glorious. Yes, it was hot during most days but it was not humid at all (big change from here in DC where it is swampy all summer) AND mornings and evenings got down into the 60s and breezy. We could actually sit outside and drink coffee in the morning and be completely comfortable. Wondrous.

I am in Alaska right now on a cruise. Just getting ready to leave Icy Straight Point. Will be Juneau tomorrow. Yes the weather is gorgeous! I come from 100 degree weather so the 60 degree weather is much welcomed. Such a beautiful state.

I lost my brother in 2014 on his brand new motorcycle. He was murdered by someone who should not be driving due to seizures. I'm so sorry for Lizzy's loss. My dad was a medical tech in the military during WW2.

Sending prayers to Lizzy and her boys, and yes wildfires are awful here in WA and Oregon as well. We had one on Yakama reservation (I live here in the area too) that ended up having 16 houses gone, but a lot of people who have extended families living in those homes that are gone.
