Her yoga consisted of full display of her privates with the legs open to the camera and thrusting the hips. Reported it and she was not touched. So, guessing you are correct and that will be the next move as it's already starting.
I think what’s been the most frustrating of all for me was how artists got fucked over in the process. The reason the meta was introduced in the first place was for artistic nudity and even then it was pretty stringent about no genitals. And of course the new innovations of bad actors PLUS the lack of (or I guess now, DELAYED) moderation on Twitch led everything to spiral down. Idk I feel like these “new” features should’ve already existed on the platform. Lud’s absolute right that it’s very much a “Catch Me If You Can” situation lmfao.
It really does not seem like Twitch itself has had a battle with nudity etc. To me, it feels like viewers and sponsors working their ass off to make Twitch realize this is not acceptable for a site such as theirs, and twitch plugging their ears for as long as they can, untill they start losing money and have to make a statement.
Twitch can say whatever they like about pretending to do something about the sexual content meta they started by drawing attention to it in the first place. Fact of the matter is i still open up their site and majority of the content on the browse page is still "18+..." And all sorts of sexual content. Nothing has changed and its just become the popular thing now to try and get away with it in whatever way they can. Ir feels like it will be a while until this meta actually dies
Twitch has to REALLY enforce that shit, or it wont be the end. Even then, it's insane that that content is on the same website as normal gaming streams. I was thinking about this before I watched the video, and I feel like the only way they could get rid of that content is banning advertising for other websites on their platform. That would come with its own issues, though, like sponsored streams being banned. I think it's just something that has to be accepted as a norm on twitch now.
Finally something good from this entire saga. My personal view is that Twitch has transformed ages ago (just to the people still somehow thinking it's a gaming platform despite all the categories completely unrelated to gaming), but it got out of control and turned into a alternative soft corn streaming website on some channels. And these "some channels" started to become a larger proportion, just mixed in with everything else.
It's a super tough question: How do you make sure explicit content won't be seen by unwanted audiences, especially underaged folks, while allowing the maximum amount of freedom of expression, when it's hard to define what is explicit or not in the first place, when you have to do all of these moderations in real-time(cuz they're live streams).
I think the clear option is just not feeling the need to allow the maximum amount of freedom and personal expression. This is not something that’s necessary for a media platform to run.
@@a.w_. I doubt a US-based company and users from the US will be cool with that(freedom of speech stuff). Even if they will, where do you draw the line so that it won't backfire and hurt those who actually try their best to put out good content?
@@fart63 Yeah I get your point. The problem is where do you draw the line? Sure those who are naked on the stream are definitely producing sexual content. But what if, for example, a female streamer simply wears something slightly explicit while doing normal content(like that piano girl). Do we enforce some dress code for female streamers? That would be unfair to them, right? Cuz male streamers would have more freedom in terms of dress code. So let's say we enforce the same dress code to all genders. But that would create a new problem: now some types of content revolving around cosplays would not be allowed on Twitch (for example male streamers wearing cat maid costumes), which are perfectly normal content but wouldn't be allowed under the dress code. This is a made-up example but the gist is it's just hard to draw the line.
Am I wrong? I feel like the blurred thumbo is gonna increase viewership (by a small % at least). I feel like if you're a coomer searching for something to goon to, a blurred image that can be unblurred by one click isn't gonna stop you. Twitch isn't fighting a losing battle. Twitch isn't even fighting. Twitch fucks around and finds out just as much as the streamers until advertisers (and viewers, but only insofar as viewer outrages makes advertisers nervous) push them to clean up their act. Twitch could easily ban all of these, but they don't care as long as it makes money and isn't enough of a liability. Twitch is further disincentivized to ban when competing platforms i.e. Kick are even more loose because they're less beholden to advertisers in their current expansionist, investment-funded models. The only losing battle is how long until legislation and regulation catches on as can be seen with several jurisdictions passing laws that went into effect this year making the age-verification of actual porn sites more strict.

Saying you don’t want every platform to have overly sexualized people isn’t incelish, the same way that saying women should be allowed to be as sexual as they want and men have to just get over is not feminism.
I appreciate that they did this honestly, but it would be smart to make all of this content exclusive for onlyfans since they already created the concept. I dont think there are many other choices that are gonna save the platform other than being innovative and coming up with new concepts, other than that they should focus on improving the streaming experience by helping small streamers get big by focusing on the quality of their videos, making an algorithm that promotes content which is quality based on how streamers stream. But also make it easier for unpopular games to become trendy just based on the streaming experience that is provided, all of this would make the platform better. But this sexual war should end by focusing on censoring whats sexual or label it as onlyfans exclusive content, and instead focus on their platform in general to promote smaller streamers who deserve the promotion. This will give everyone tons of money and satisfy the experience of twich for everybody.
