It is really nice to see how other people go about cash stuffing, I’ve not seen many videos where people explain their process. Maybe people think it is obvious, but when you start off yourself even if you have a good idea you want to see what others are doing so you know you are on the right track and also that you are not alone in starting this process That’s how I have felt anyway! thanks
I was so clueless when I first started x
So pleased I came across your video, I am starting the cash stuffing journey , but glad you did a monthly budget as that’s what I will be doing. Found it so useful x
aw thanks. I'm glad you found it helpful x
Thank you so much for making this video, Kerry! I'm just now getting into cash stuffing!
hopefully, it helped. Feel free to message me on insta if you have any questions.
What a great video 😀 I wish I had seen this when I had started cash stuffing, its so easy to get sucked into the buying all additional stuff you don't actually need especially if the purpose is to pay off debt etc as that money could be used for that! I think it for me was like another form of comfort or a reward and also a way to keep myself engaged in it! I'm certain this will help a lot of people, you explained it so well 🙂 xx
Thanks Jen 💜
loved this video. i’ve been cash stuffing properly for about 3 months and i’m still learning new things everyday like what works for me and what areas i need to prioritise, this video was a big help, thank you kerry🥰
aw thanks Rebekah, hope you're well 💜
Great video Kerry, all a brand new budgeter would need to know in one place. I studied so many videos to understand how to do it before getting started. Well done xx

@@BudgetwithKerry perfect! Thank you
Fab idea to put together a how-to budget video. It was a bit trial and error for me to start with, so this would have been really helpful!
Hope it's going to help someone 🙏 🙂
You have explained this so well, well done 👏 x
thank you! Never usually nervous to video but I was for this one
Thanks for the video it’s just what I needed to get going.
Glad I can help Kelly 💜
My Grandma explained the envelope method to me before I moved to Queensland to start uni at 21. I don't use envelopes anymore but I have my yearly plan on what I need to set aside for bills each fortnight and I make sure that's always sitting in the account.
I just started a new job on 1 August so I had to redo my budget. I went through Jan - July and tracked my spending this year.
Good luck 💜💜
I wish I had this video when I started my journey! I bet it will be so helpful to beginners! ❤️
thank you 💖
Whatever anyone has in an 'emergency envelope' should be used in full to pay down any credit card balance, and the credit card used as an emergency fund. In this example it looks like around £400 emergency cash, and that cash can work for you by reducing the extortionate credit card interest on that amount. It also allows you to clear the credit card faster as the payments you make are paying more principle balance as there's less of the interest. The banks don't care about you as long as you can afford the minimum payment, and the higher the balance the more they make on interest and the longer it takes to clear the balance. Hope that makes sense. The other unfortunate thing in this example is the gas/elec, if it's £150 now I'd project it to be £400 by January :(
Totally get that. In my example I don't have debt which is my experience. I've got a car loan which I can't over pay on with my bank but no credit cards luckily. As for gas & electric I'm currently at £110 monthly but yes I do expect to see a rise.. this is just an example for people who would like to get started and they are not sure how.
@@BudgetwithKerry Keep up the good work!
I couldn't do without it to be honest 💗
Where do you get the envelopes etc from and the sheet with all the info on please
I got my planner from Carpe Diem on amazon. My envelopes are from budget with Ira on etys and my binders are from amazon x
Great video Kerry! It’s not easy to explain it all and you did an amazing job ❤️ Great advice at the beginning too about not comparing your budget to others. We’re all so different. You are such a lovely person and anyone who does reach out for support will be in great hands 😊❤️
Thank you 💖
