I have had my Fisker extreme for two weeks now. Love the car. Only major issue was the key fob didn’t work the second day I got it but luckily Fisker provided an extra battery on delivery and since replacing the battery in key fob things have been fine. Didn’t get my floor mats. Other than that love the car. I agree most of the major initial build and software issues have been resolved. Only improving from here on with the updates. Agree with Patrick’s assessment!

Wouldn't do too much off-road without adequate undercarriage protection (should be available with the force-e package) as I read the story of one owner who damaged his battery while driving over some rocks (and the battery is very expensive to replace).
Pretty good tipp thanks for that was planning to take the car a bit ofroad but well need to think about it now. Force-e would be to expensive just for testing.

Hi good morning, thanks a lot and yes they need to get quicker with some things. at the moment you can go up to 160-170 kwh may and this should come with an update later you should go up to 270 kwh. Anyhow what I see lately in our area that you can go up to 60-80kwh what you also observerd I talked also to some friends driving EV and they also said in Germany the loading is pretty low right now at all different providers could be that they been slow down it at the moment it´s pretty disapointing with the charging right now because the time it takes is pretty long now. Where are you from what country? and merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family, too

Ich habe meinen Fisker seit wenigen Tagen. Nach anfänglicher Begeisterung bin ich mehr als ernüchtert. Es gibt deutlich mehr Dinge die man wissen sollte, seltsamerweise wurden diese Punkte bis dato nirgendwo genannt, oder nur in Teilen: 1 die Lautstärke des Navi ist nicht separat einstellbar. Wer leise Musik hört, hört keine Ansagen 2 Kein Filtern im Navi nach Ladeanbietern möglich 3 Kein Speichern der Sitzposition möglich (nach dem Chillen beim Laden muss der Sitz also wieder eingestellt werden) 4 immense Klappergeräusche in der billig daherkommenden Verkleidung der Dachkonsole 5 Keine Gummieinlagen in Türstauräumen, damit rutscht dort alles hin und her 6 bei mir, und auch einigen anderen Besitzern, wurde das kleine Display schief montiert 7 die Innenbeleuchtung ist bei eingeschalteter Zündung nicht abschaltbar - im Dunklen nen Film schauen ist damit ein Traum :( 8 der altbekannte Keyfob reagiert auch mit 1.11 oftmals nicht 9 die Heizung wird während der Fahrt oftmals kalt 10 das Navi ist nicht aus Kontakten startbar - das bekommt sogar der VW-Konzern hin 11 bei Leasingkunden nicht geht die App nicht und schmeißt diese raus. Grund - man kann in der App nicht die Bezahlmethode Leasing auswählen 12 Kontakte im Navi sind nicht nach Nachnamen sortiert Das TomTom-Navi ist in Summe ein ganz schwaches Teil, grauenvoll! Staus werden nicht gezeigt, es gibt so gut wie keine Einstellmöglichkeiten, ich glaube (muss ich nochmal testen), dass die Darstellung jedes Mal nicht nordweisend startet. Übersichten über umgebende Ladepunkte gibt es nicht. Das ist richtig scheiße, aber so richtig!!!
Hi guten Morgen, das hört sich aber nicht so gut an und es tut mir echt leid das zu hören. Zu den Punkten 1,2,3,7,(8),10,12 sollten alle mit updates kommen - beim Schlüssel bin ich mal gespannt, hatte mich mit einem extrem Besitzer getroffen gehabt und er hatte schon ein komplett anderen Schlüssel als ich. Heizung sollte eigentlich gehen du hattest aber nicht den Sport da bin ich mir nicht sicher ob die Wärmepumpe drin ist versuch mal den Fun mode zu nehmen damit sie schneller geht. Punkt 4+6 habe ich noch nie gehört damit würde ich direkt zu Fisker gehen und Nachbesserung verlagen das darf gar nicht sein und da gibt es keine Diskussion das es nicht gut ist würde dann auch gleich die Heizung mit angeben. Es tut mir echt so leid das zu hören und ich kann deine Frustration total verstehen sowas darf einfach nciht sein und da besteht Handlungsbedarf von Fisker.
@@gentlemensworld stimmt, das mit dem Earth-Modus habe ich ganz vergessen. War gestern Langstrecke unterwegs und wollte das Maximale rausholen. Danke nomma. Schade, dass es noch Probleme gibt aber in deiner Liste sieht es aus, dass einige sehr wichtig sind und andere nur "nice to have". Ich würde diese trennen. Übrigens kennst du die Software-Liste vom Fiskerati Forum? Eventuell kannst du da deine Probleme/Vorschläge hinzufügen. Die Fisker-Community hat schon Macht und diese Probleme werden von Fisker adressiert. Übrigens ich bin schon mit dir über Tom-Tom einverstanden.
Ja manche Probleme auch wenn es Software bedingt ist sind halt auch nervig, z.b. das ADAS wen es halt die ganze zeit bimmelt und Du kannst es einfach nicht abschalten weil es ausgefallen ist und irgendwelche Geister sieht. Was mich persönlich auch nervt ist wen die Regenerative Bremse ausfällt das war bei meinem ständig so deshalb und aus paar anderen Gründen ist er jetzt auch wieder bei Fisker. Ich finde es halt wichtig auch wenn schon dinge bekannt sind die weiterhin an Fisker zu berichten damit die auch alles ungefiltert mitbekommen. Also berichte es Fisker auch die Verbesserungen die Du wünscht. Muss mir mal das Fiskerati Forum anschauen war da noch gar nicht Aktiv oder hatte mich damit beschäftig aber guter Tipp vielen Dank ;-)
Patrick, I’ve taken delivery of my FOO. Drives nice, BUT, on the highway it seems very loud in the car. Is yours? I have 22” rims. Also, you have winters as does Chicago. Is there a way to remotely warm up the batteries/car before driving away? What is the process on a cold day with an EV?
Hi Mike, well need to say I think it´s pretty sillent sure you here winds ect. but shouldn´t be disturbing. Compared to an gasoline is much less noisy. I would let that check if this is not normal. Sure when you go up to 130miles wind noice getting bigger but should be still pretty ok - let that check up from Fisker if something is with the body of the car this can cause heavy noises. When you saying Chicago winter let me shiver, been there also in January and was freezing cold. With an update what hopefully comes sooner then later you normally can preheat the car. At the moment you can just jump into the car and warm it up 5-10min bevor you start. Does your car stand on the street not in a garage and did you recognize any issues at the moment e.g. regen breaking not working, doors not open something like that?

No, the noise is not a rattle or something weird, its just loud while driving-road noise ect......I was hoping for a silent vehicle being electric and this price point. i.e., my parents drive a 2014 Honda that is MUCH quieter then my new car. My car stays in the garage unless I'm at work or running around. Presently, there is no remote start on the fob and I see no way to do this on the app so far. Hopefully thats an update very soon. Another thing I'm pissed about is that the fob itself is very bad. Several clicks to get in or to lock. It should be a proximity thing where if im close, the close lights up and opens with the fob. I mean, this is a $71k+ vehicle that is giving very basic problems. Yesterday and today all my windows are fogging up, more rear then front, but why? I drive on Earth for the time being. I also hate the fact that there is no AM radio, that I can tell, unless you want to pay. Again, basic vehicle functionality that does not exist.
It should be bring it to Fisker and they need to check that up normally the car is pretty silent and even when we go here in Germany up to 130miles +. Yes at the moment you need to go into the car and start it than it warms ups also what I would recomment drive in the fun mode at least at the beginning because the heat pump then gets more energy and warms up the car much faster as in earth mode (earth is the energy saving mode what also not gives full power to the head pump). The Fob is a nightmare said it so often on my channel already just met a new owner whom got is extrem 2 weeks ago that Fob is already another I´m having with the one and seems at least to work a bit better but also not good enough. With the AM this should be adjustable in the menu of the APP where you have your DAB channels on the left at lest at my car this works.

Good Morning, I hope you get the secound halve as soon as possible anyhow there need to more updates also coming after the 1.11 full version. Well there are pretty much issues right now, I had also a damage from the towning away where there needs to be done some work on and couple of parts changed. I had also a raising battery drain and issues with the doors when it was cold some bad stuff stuff what I not seeing with the replacment car right now I will do an update on what happend with the car as soon I have it back at the moment it is for 3 weeks with Fisker now. Wish you also all the best for the holiday times.

Do you buyers all sign an agreement to NEVER drive the Ocean on a curving road? It has been out a while now, no video exists of the car driving on anything but straight highways. Do you have no tracks or twisting mountain roads where you live? Surely there are tracks in Germany? How about being the first to show us how capable the Ocean is on dirt roads? I get it, the Ocean is literally only a decent car on straight good condition paved roads, right? It is a station wagon.
Good morning, needed to smile with your comment well we looking at the moment anyhow for a track where we can do the boost video and my car to get returned may this can be then shown. I would do that also on normal routes but would need a drone to film it what I not having right now. So far I can say it´s pretty good in curvy roads when you check up my secound video I published I talk about.
I am in week 11 and would still tell people to stay away. At this point all the ADAS errors (there are 6 or 7) have made the call undriveable. They currently have my car at the service center in Huntington Beach and I am told that it will be fixed in a future software update but they don't know when. They have been better on the CS front, but this is the worst car I have ever owned. Everything is driven by software and they have not shown that they are a software company. I will never buy a Tesla but this is not a viable alternative. Also, look at the service times in the area you live. As bad as my experience has been, I am withing 30 miles of a service center.

@@gentlemensworld I have the Mariana with the Maliblu interior. I think the outside of the car is really nice. It feels put together well and the paint is actually very good as well. It feels like a Magna car. The interior fit and finish is really closer to a 50K car vs a 70K. My vents are being replaced now. The overnight battery drain is concerning. I am at 2% loss while I never had any drain in my iPace. Also, my range has been about 210 for city and 285 for highway. Temperature is 65-75 and driving in earth mode. With a fairly light accelerator foot.)) Thanks again for the channel and the coverage.
Yeah been asking about the build because I think there is a bad batch of a line of the first Ocean One, it´s funny that you saying it with the interior I also think the black looks more quality as the blue (not the seats but the inside build) have also seen and sitting in the seasalt also that looks more high quality. With the loss is also somethni my one even after the update got up to 5% something I would also let check from Fisker with yours the one I´m having have it just once per week that he looses battery over night again something different the 210-285 miles are pretty close to what I´m getting I still have the feeling but need to compare then in summer that after some updates the car uses more. Punkt 4+6 habe ich noch nie gehört damit würde ich direkt zu Fisker gehen und Nachbesserung verlagen das darf gar nicht sein und da gibt es keine Diskussion das es nicht gut ist würde dann auch gleich die Heizung mit angeben. Es tut mir echt so leid das zu hören und ich kann deine Frustration total verstehen sowas darf einfach nciht sein und da besteht Handlungsbedarf von Fisker.

Schade, dass es noch Probleme gibt aber in deiner Liste sieht es aus, dass einige sehr wichtig sind und andere nur "nice to have". Ich würde diese trennen. Übrigens kennst du die Software-Liste vom Fiskerati Forum? Eventuell kannst du da deine Probleme/Vorschläge hinzufügen. Die Fisker-Community hat schon Macht und diese Probleme werden von Fisker adressiert.

Ja manche Probleme auch wenn es Software bedingt ist sind halt auch nervig, z.b. das ADAS wen es halt die ganze zeit bimmelt und Du kannst es einfach nicht abschalten weil es ausgefallen ist und irgendwelche Geister sieht. Was mich persönlich auch nervt ist wen die Regenerative Bremse ausfällt das war bei meinem ständig so deshalb und aus paar anderen Gründen ist er jetzt auch wieder bei Fisker. Ich finde es halt wichtig auch wenn schon dinge bekannt sind die weiterhin an Fisker zu berichten damit die auch alles ungefiltert mitbekommen. Also berichte es Fisker auch die Verbesserungen die Du wünscht. Muss mir mal das Fiskerati Forum anschauen war da noch gar nicht Aktiv oder hatte mich damit beschäftig aber guter Tipp vielen Dank ;-)
Patrick, I’ve taken delivery of my FOO. Drives nice, BUT, on the highway it seems very loud in the car. Is yours? I have 22” rims. Also, you have winters as does Chicago. Is there a way to remotely warm up the batteries/car before driving away? What is the process on a cold day with an EV?
Hi Mike, well need to say I think it´s pretty sillent sure you here winds ect. but shouldn´t be disturbing. Compared to an gasoline is much less noisy. I would let that check if this is not normal. Sure when you go up to 130miles wind noice getting bigger but should be still pretty ok - let that check up from Fisker if something is with the body of the car this can cause heavy noises. When you saying Chicago winter let me shiver, been there also in January and was freezing cold. With an update what hopefully comes sooner then later you normally can preheat the car. At the moment you can just jump into the car and warm it up 5-10min bevor you start. Does your car stand on the street not in a garage and did you recognize any issues at the moment e.g. regen breaking not working, doors not open something like that?

No, the noise is not a rattle or something weird, its just loud while driving-road noise ect......I was hoping for a silent vehicle being electric and this price point. i.e., my parents drive a 2014 Honda that is MUCH quieter then my new car. My car stays in the garage unless I'm at work or running around. Presently, there is no remote start on the fob and I see no way to do this on the app so far. Hopefully thats an update very soon. Another thing I'm pissed about is that the fob itself is very bad. Several clicks to get in or to lock. It should be a proximity thing where if im close, the close lights up and opens with the fob. I mean, this is a $71k+ vehicle that is giving very basic problems. Yesterday and today all my windows are fogging up, more rear then front, but why? I drive on Earth for the time being. I also hate the fact that there is no AM radio, that I can tell, unless you want to pay. Again, basic vehicle functionality that does not exist.
It should be bring it to Fisker and they need to check that up normally the car is pretty silent and even when we go here in Germany up to 130miles +. Yes at the moment you need to go into the car and start it than it warms ups also what I would recomment drive in the fun mode at least at the beginning because the heat pump then gets more energy and warms up the car much faster as in earth mode (earth is the energy saving mode what also not gives full power to the head pump). The Fob is a nightmare said it so often on my channel already just met a new owner whom got is extrem 2 weeks ago that Fob is already another I´m having with the one and seems at least to work a bit better but also not good enough. With the AM this should be adjustable in the menu of the APP where you have your DAB channels on the left at lest at my car this works.
Hi Patrick, my FOO is so far driving really well. software is now on 1.11 (1/2) and that is not yet so stable, I hope to get my last update for the full 1.11 version. Good Morning, I hope you get the secound halve as soon as possible anyhow there need to more updates also coming after the 1.11 full version. Well there are pretty much issues right now, I had also a damage from the towning away where there needs to be done some work on and couple of parts changed. I had also a raising battery drain and issues with the doors when it was cold some bad stuff stuff what I not seeing with the replacment car right now I will do an update on what happend with the car as soon I have it back at the moment it is for 3 weeks with Fisker now. Wish you also all the best for the holiday times.

Hi, at the moment you can´t get the datas so not now may this comes with an later update. I know that in the EU there are regulations that at least the last 30 sec. should be recorded bevor an accident takes places but at the moment it´s not recording.

Do you buyers all sign an agreement to NEVER drive the Ocean on a curving road? It has been out a while now, no video exists of the car driving on anything but straight highways. Do you have no tracks or twisting mountain roads where you live? Surely there are tracks in Germany? How about being the first to show us how capable the Ocean is on dirt roads?
I get it, the Ocean is literally only a decent car on straight good condition paved roads, right? It is a station wagon.
Good morning, needed to smile with your comment well we looking at the moment anyhow for a track where we can do the boost video and my car to get returned may this can be then shown. I would do that also on normal routes but would need a drone to film it what I not having right now. So far I can say it´s pretty good in curvy roads when you check up my secound video I published I talk about.
I am in week 11 and would still tell people to stay away. At this point all the ADAS errors (there are 6 or 7) have made the call undriveable. They currently have my car at the service center in Huntington Beach and I am told that it will be fixed in a future software update but they don't know when. They have been better on the CS front, but this is the worst car I have ever owned. Everything is driven by software and they have not shown that they are a software company. I will never buy a Tesla but this is not a viable alternative. Also, look at the service times in the area you live. As bad as my experience has been, I am withing 30 miles of a service center.

@@gentlemensworld I have the Mariana with the Maliblu interior. I think the outside of the car is really nice. It feels put together well and the paint is actually very good as well. It feels like a Magna car. The interior fit and finish is really closer to a 50K car vs a 70K. My vents are being replaced now. The overnight battery drain is concerning. I am at 2% loss while I never had any drain in my iPace. Also, my range has been about 210 for city and 285 for highway. Temperature is 65-75 and driving in earth mode. With a fairly light accelerator foot.)) Thanks again for the channel and the coverage.
Yeah been asking about the build because I think there is a bad batch of a line of the first Ocean One, it´s funny that you saying it with the interior I also think the black looks more quality as the blue (not the seats but the inside build) have also seen and sitting in the seasalt also that looks more high quality. With the loss is also somethni my one even after the update got up to 5% something I would also let check from Fisker with yours the one I´m having have it just once per week that he looses battery over night again something different the 210-285 miles are pretty close to what I´m getting I still have the feeling but need to compare then in summer that after some updates the car uses more.
