Learned this from ecom tom a few years ago... I have a 10% lifetime employee discount and I am tax exempt on Walmart. 2 hours in of listing 5 items I made $1200 in sales and got restricted so fast. To this day still never got the money out of there and had no luck appealing. Sometimes I wonder if I could just do fba with my discount and see those numbers but I am resricted :/
Yeah you’ve got to be careful with big box retail suppliers like Walmart. I found that out the hard way too, but I was able to appeal and get account back.
Don’t give up I had to write multiple letters telling them I effed up on my stock levels and used someone else to fulfill my orders and I learned my lesson and begged for forgiveness. I got my account back after about a month
Do you do any wholesale FBA? Do you think that’s the best long term model with Amazon?
I don’t do fba anymore…I used to do a lot of wholesale fba but I move into wholesale dropshipping. Wholesale fba is certainly a great long term way to go though 👌

Hey Bryan actually what make Amazon alarm goes on as to they get to know that we are dropshipping from popular retail sites is it because of tracking number provided by that site or customer complaint or something else??
Yeah could be either of those things. Customer complaints, branded boxes, invoices with different prices and store names, tracking numbers coming from different locations, etc…

When dropshipping I noticed that some listings don't show the buy box at all, instead people have to click on "see other buying options." do you know about this? just curious to know
Yeah some listings don’t have a buybox. That’s typically either when the price is too high or too low…or if the price on another competitor site is a lot lower (in most cases). On these listings just March the lowest price of the products that are your condition

Thanks, glad it was valuable for you! It really depends on your products. You could have 1 product that has nearly no competition and sells well…sell immediately over and over again. Just the same, you could have 20 products that are competitive and you share the buybox more…and you might not sell any your first day. It just depends on the products. Some of them. But these are mainly for Amazon since you’re sourcing products specifically for Amazon listings l
What happens when a customer returns the product?
Then you either send them the return label from your supplier. Or you have them ship it back to you first and you ship it back with a return label.
For wholsale dropshipping, how much capital is good enough to start?
You can start with a few hundred dollars since theirs no minimum order quantities, but about 1K ish would be ideal.

I got banned back in september 2022, appealed.. and never got it beaten. Dropshipping on amazon quickly died for me. How are you not banned?
I had a good POA both times they temporarily suspended me. And I only used obscure suppliers mainly…some big boxes in the beginning when I didn’t know any better

Hi, do you submit just the POA in your appeal? I was dropshipping from walmart and do not have invoices except the online receipt, im lost, please help
@@ninabella9749 Just responded to this in the discord for you. Your best bet is to own up to it and admit you were doing it, say you didn't know you weren't supposed to, and say you won't do it again. Don't dropship from big box retailers (especially walmart)
