I love the two windows in the background with the natural light and the neutral shade wall directly behind you.. congratulations on finding an apartment you both like. I feel for you, sister! A few years ago, I tripped and fell face first into a brick wall. It happened so fast I didn't even get my hands up and took the entire force on my face, breaking 2 bones and requiring surgery on my nose (that failed, unfortunately). I was in such pain I couldn't even have water in the shower hit my face for weeks. Hope you heal fast! I always enjoy your videos.

I love the Covergirl foundation but it is very hydrating and dewy as it’s mostly serum with some pigment dots in it. On a hot July day it gets very shiny on the skin. That may be what you were noticing. Congratulations on the move btw 🥳

Noisewise I can relate. I lived at Park Row for 5 months in 1988, 1 PP is on the other side and the noise of police sirens was constant. But the funny thing was, after 2 weeks I blocked it out. I loved NYC and still do, but the 80s were so different….😊

The blush and lips look gorgeous, but the red tone of the mascara is too hay feverish for me haha When it comes to backgrounds I definitely prefer simple calming ones like the ones you had before 😊

I feel like with this setup, you’re backlit so the windows looks pretty bright but you look a little darker? Idk maybe that’s just a lighting brightness fix though

Kelly, are you still hunting for a chocolate brown mascara? If so I saw some "red head" mascaras that were very warm browns. On dark lashes they would look even more brown than on my blonde invisible lashes. Hope this helps. If you try any let us know. As a ginger I am very curious.

In terms of set up: the sound is fine (didn't use headphones), angle was nice and I'm neutral on which background/setting would be best. Some more (natural?) light would be nice, especially for the close ups. Though maybe it's just a gloomy day 😅
