- Femke Bol runs an effortless last leg to help Netherlands win the Mixed 4x400m relay at the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas, helping Netherlands to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Marileidy Paulino of the Dominican Republic stormed through from 5th to 2nd with a 48.93s final leg to help her country also qualify automatically. What a race!

Femke Bol is the best ❤❤❤
Amazing!
😮
Wowww M Paulino.. what at last leg😮😮😮
The real stand out performance though was the Irish girl Adeleke - she ran 48.54 a full second faster than Bol, Paulino and Miller-Uibo...smokin and she's only 21!
She is amazing!
Fantastic run by Paulino of the DR.
Absolutely!
Paulino! Excelente como siempre!
Es muy cierto!!!
La gacela de República Dominicana 🇩🇴 Marileydy Paulino demostrando porque es la campeona indiscutible de los 400 metros
Marileidy Paulino is simply amazing. If the DR had the lead she would have destroyed the field. But she did her thing, putting down a blazing run. Can wait to see what she brings to Paris. 🎉
She is amazing!
Paulino is super human I think if she was close enough she could even catch the great femke bol
😂😂😂 bol was running at 80 %
Yes you,re correct. The Dutch team clearly didn,t give it all. Especially Lieke Klaver and Femke Bol were just cruising. They just want to qualify, with no injuries. They are safing their after burners for the big Olympic event. The Dutchies are not just fast, they also are very smart. Don,t show your opponents what you have got in store for them.
Nab, Bol was flying
@@actie-reactiebol definitely not running 80% that’s just her running style. She always looks relaxed and smooth sailing. You guys kept saying that before and she was literally hawked down by an inexperienced Alexis Holmes.
@@tomten8663 No, Bol is a winner, no way she wasn't trying to win the final.
"If the Dominican Republic team had taken him to fourth place in the race, Paulino would have finished first. Excellent victory for the Dominican team."
Paulino is no joke---she would have beaten Bol easily if she had a few meters more---she is special.
@@kobbieafriyie2172Femke was jogging.
@@hermanmertens8383 Ofcourse, she was jogging-----she was not under pressure---we all know she can't handle pressure---Bol only performs well when she has no pressure; Femke Bol new name should be "I can't handle pressure Bol". 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@kobbieafriyie2172that’s not true at all! She almost gotten 3 GOLD in all the 400 meter distances, put some respect on her name!
@@kobbieafriyie2172 She became a two times world champion after that fall….under pressure. And has beaten in the next big event Holmes three times in a row and became a two times indoor world champion….under pressure. So what’s your point? She restored order on the global podium
Paulino took the Dominican Republic from 5th to 2nd with a 48.93s leg. Great running! Compare this to Femke Bol's last leg of 49.54s
Paulino is still in her unbeatable form in the 400m. Her final speed is simply unmatched. She’s in her prime years, so I’d love to see someone challenge and force her to go 100% without slowing down for once in my life.
@@GyariSan1 At the moment the "big" names in 400m/400mH are McLaughlin-Levrone and Bol and the spotlight is away from Paulino. This year one might find the competition between the three of them in the 400m blowing up. I hope so anyway
@@forwardpass2725I don’t agree with you regarding the 400 flat. Neither Bol nor MacLaughlin can beat Paulinho on the flat
@@GyariSan1 Bol was jogging, just securing first place.
@@davepadmore2982 At the moment Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone already has a better PB in the 400m flat than Paulino - 48.74 to 48.76. Femke Bol only recently started to focus the 400m and already has the world record for the indoors. All I'm saying is that the three-way competition can only be good for the game and for us fans
Femke Bol knows!!
Paulino went from 5th to 2nd. Wow.
Amazing!!
She is out of this world!
Paulino's strategy and technique is world class *
Dam what a race by Paulino, that was insane
So true!
Femke and Paulino-Top 2 in 400M at Olympics. They’re on FIRE!
Not sure if Femke is faster than Sydney and Miller-Uibo. We shall see.
Femke already stated she is not running the open 400m at the Olympics due to the schedule being to close to the 400mh.
So true!
Wow…Paulino!!!
Well said!
Goed gedaan Bambi:)
Cofil and ogando on the Dominican team would be a force to be reckoned with in the finals.
It will be interesting to see how teams change their make up at the Olympics. This weekend is only about qualifying
Is Nuñez the best male runner they have after Ogando? Paulino, Cofil and Ogando are strong...
So true
Waooo lo de paulino es increíble 🏃🏃🏃🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴
Si, ella es impresionante!
Un mensager , de la Miss Paulino , para los 400metros 💪💪💪 La Queen👸
Asi es!
It was a mistake for them to put Miller-Uibo on the 2nd leg and leave a 16 year old to go against Bol and Paulino. They fixed it the next day and qualified but that cost them the chance to run in the final.
I agree!
Paulino u r good runner keep it up
She is amaizing!
Paulino and Shaune! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Marileidy Paulino es una bala, si el equipo estuviera a la altura de ella no perdieran en la competencia...
Muy cierto!
Wow
Yall set that girl up, no way she should be anchoring
Creo que Ogando no corrió a la altura de un atleta, porque Paulino lo hizo todo
Love to see Fem run she tough and not afraid to compete like Sydney
so true
Why will they put her on the anchor leg? That's definitely her last relay i guess
I see neither Femke Bol or Lieke Klaver ran the Women's 4x400m. With only one change in personnel allowed for today's race I wonder if one of them will come in to make sure Netherlands qualify
Anyway, Femke Bol seems super fit this season and have added some speed too. I hope and look forward to a head-to-head between her and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone in both the 400m and the 400mH. I hope that they don't avoid each other
@@forwardpass2725 STFU SYDNEY RETIRED FROM HURDLES AND HAS NOTHING TO PROVE. TELL FEMKE BOL TO BEAT SYD'S RECORD THEN WE TALK ...UNTIL THEN STFU
The Bol (T) keep domaine the race 😀
Dang! That white gurl is quick!
Dutch and Polish white girls can run
So true
Es una lástima que Fiordaliza no está ayudando a Marileidy en esta disciplina porque con Anabel jamás ganaremos medalla de oro
es verdad!
Bahamas teammates are going to be pissed lol, now they have to run again tomorrow
They would have run anyway. But that would have been for The Money and for seeding spots, not just to qualify
They weren't mad. The anchor was only 16 and had to step in at the last minute due to injury. That poor baby was almost in tears, and Shawnie was very protective of her. The next day they switched and Shawnie took care of business. She is back to form.
The Bahamas really didn't have anyone else in the entire country to put on anchor leg? 🤔 The other 3 legs did their job. I'm just surprised that a team with Gardner and Miller-Uibo can't qualify. 🤷🏾♂️
Anthonique strochan had an injury and I guess the chick they choose was the only available anchor leg.
I was hoping Miller -Uibo was going to run the anchor leg !
They should have switched the girls positions, let Uibo anchor...
@@jagbrit3723 yeah but the problem with that is the Bahamas would have been behind the entire race and left too much for Miller-Uibo to make up🤷🏾♂️ They needed a different person entirely.
@@kc5466 yeah that just sucks because now they're out 😩 I'm not from the Bahamas but wanted to see that team compete because I always want to see the best athletes.
Shaunie ran the wrong leg.
Agreed
Clark give jamaica a good start
So true!
Earlier in the year there were talk that Bol and SML won't be competing in the same disciplines, one would be doing 400mH and the other 400m but neither has actually confirmed this. SML is only getting into her season now after a long lay-off due to a knee injury while Bol had a full indoor season. Over the weekend SML competed as a warm up in a minor invitational meet in the 100mH and the flat 200m, winning both in times close to her PBs in those events. I just know that I am looking forward to see them run
I saw an interview where Bol said she was absolutly not running the open 400 because of the schedule being to close to the 400 mh. Those were her words out of her mouth. Syd looks like she is now considering defending her title in the 400mh but she hasn't confirmed. Either way they won't compete in the open 400.
@@kpat3052 Whichever way it goes I look forward to seeing them both running. Two phenomenal athletes
Bahamas gave this mix relay away
PAULINO COACH STOP YOUR GOING TO MESS UP HER GOLD MEDAL OLYMPIC RUN....LET HER REST NOW
Please change the format so they can run the men and women when they want . . . It was 100x more interesting.
I feel bad for the Bahamians
YOU ARE ALL SNAILS
Anabel de dominicana no me convence mucho. Mejor hubiera sido cofil
DR qualified for a seeding position at the Olympics. They don't have to race the same team in Paris
That lady let her country down in the last leg..she deserves to spend some times in jail
Huh what. That makes absolutely no sense 😕
If you don't have anything nice to say please say nothing at all.
In the mixed relay, Netherlands has a chance for gold for the first time since this sport was created.
You are doing the same as NBC. Spoiling the results
Bol will catch everyone within 100m
Not Sydney McLaughlin or Paulino😂 stop exaggerating. She'll catch anyone we never heard of within 100 m but not the elite runners 🙄 I'll even add Abby Steiner to the list.
mention one great top athlete Bol has beaten in the 400mh and 400m------I am waiting; I know you can't.🤣🤣🤣
Dalilah Muhammad but she’s been past her prime since Sydney destroyed her.
@@kc5466 yeah I was going to say Muhammad but she is past her prime and would get walked.
@@kobbieafriyie2172 She holds the 400m Indoors world record and is second all time behind Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone in the 400mH. She hasn't really competed in the 400m outdoor but were ranked 3rd in 2023. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is the GOAT but I hope the two of them go head to head this year in the 400m and the 400mH
Netherlands knows what to do...go black...duh
