Connect Xbox 360 controller to PC on Windows 8.1

When your computer doesn't automatically recognize your controller, or it fails to load the drivers for it, this is how you can do it manually. Windows 8 and 8.1 natively have drivers for these devices.

That means your controller isn't recognized. Are you using wired or wireless? (charger isn't wired)
