G528-XR550-551 on 9149 near Arnold. 21-05-24.

Of note there were 17xVHHF/X type hoppers in the consist i can`t recall there being this many on one train for many years. Also the remaining aluminium VHGF`s in the range 1 to 100 have disappeared possibly in the last round of scrapping done at Nth Geelong.

Bonus daytime sighting, thanks Graeme. PN have 4 BG rakes now I think they were doing a load of repairs and as you said, scrapping a few very old ones. Hopefully some more rain falls soon for the farmers.

Thanks Callum , l,ve noticed a few new hoppers that have dragged out of storage of late. Sowing seems to be just about done in central Vic we had 24 mil at Bendigo other places got more some less just over week ago.

Cheers mate, bit hard to get XR`s of late . Was three here at SSR one has gone back two were at Gemco in Melbourne they must have some issues and none leading always trailing of late.

@@graemewhite8463 Just an aside Graeme, noticed quite a few "Lindsay Transport" refrigerated containers on Aurizon/TGE's 6PS1 yesterday at Yarrabandai too, usually a PN staple the Lindsay's.

Quite a few VHAF's also went in the latest scrapping, 100 or so wagons were sent away to be cut up.
