    Those pipes sound great. Just the right amount of rumble.

    How do the V7 and the V9 compare to each other? I have the V7 850 Special and live in England. So it’s the euro version. I must admit the blinkers and back light on the euro version is a work of art, just a shame they are not made from polished alloys. The states version of the back light and blinkers must be because of legislation, but I would definitely do what you have done if I was in your position. Well done on the video.

      Yeah, I love the new tail light and blinkers, too. I did a lot of research on where to find the parts, the tail light housing and light came from England, and the blinkers I purchased from Texas. Both bikes are fun to ride. The v9 handles the road better but is a little sketchy at high speed because of that huge front tire. The v7 seems to accelerate and stop better. Both have that Guzzi charm, i.e., hard shifting when cold, false neutral once in a while. But that's what makes a Guzzi a Guzzi!!! Cheers, mate, and always ride safe 👍!!!

    Thanks for sharing this. I have a V7 on order and have been looking for the euro light to do exactly what you did. This is the first anything I’ve come across that someone did the swap. I’ll go on line and look for the euro light. Thanks for sharing! Oh, what company did you purchase the brake light from?

      Buy the brake light from ebay, it's cheaper. Get the other parts from the Netherlands.
      Use the link I provided and look for the front and rear blinkers by part number. The rear tail light housing has 3 pieces, an upper, lower, and a support mount. If you have any other questions please let me know.

      Cool! I just ordered the clip on bars for my v7. They are a factory option from Guzzi. They come with new cables and brake line.

    I agree about changing to Leds .
    Have you changed the rear suspension on the on the Bobber ? I am not sure which *50 to go for , the V7 seems a little lower in the seat height and I am 5' 5'' !

    • @bigdummy7872

      I still have stock suspension on both bikes.

    I have the 2022 v7 850 Special and I can't find a way to get 4 way flashers to turn on. Turn signals work fine, no 4 ways!

    • @bigdummy7872
      @bigdummy7872  Před rokem

      V7 doesn't come with 4 way hazard lights.
      Only the v9 bobber.

    The euro tail light does look great. I have been able to buy the turn signals online but have not been able to find a site that has the euro tail light. Does anybody have a lead? Please let us know. Thanks.

      The European housing has 3 pieces, upper, lower and support. The actual light is separate. Which ones are you looking for?

      I just got a 2022 V7 centenario like yours and would like to change the tail light to the euro model. Looking at the rear light diagram, it looks like I need parts #17-18-19-20-21-22. I just cannot find a site that has all the parts. I will check the sites you included. Thanks.

    Love the new blinkers and exhaust. I like your fl screen in the bikes, where did you get them and what is the brand? I’ve been looking for a while and haven’t found any? Thanks!

      @@bigdummy7872 just purchased a 2021 new V7 Stone (light ice blue). Got back into riding after 25 year break. Was close to buying the XSR900 or the Z900, but the special lure of the Guzzi got me. Last bike was a 82 Honda CB750K and it was boring. The Guzzi is far from that. In NJ just outside of Philly.

    • @bigdummy7872

      Cool! That color was originally my first choice, and then I fell in love with the Centanario. Your bike would look sweet with the black fly screen with the optional rubber edge. Are you interested in the European rear tail light and blinkers? Because someone has a complete set front and rear listed on ebay.

      Thx, just sent a notification to the screen dealer. Going to hold off on the blinkers and muffler for now, but the muffler might happen sooner than later. Already put an engine guard and center stand on the bike.

      @@bigdummy7872 Yeah, I have 2018 moto guzzi v7 III carbon shine (added oem fork gators) and most people have no clue what it is. "Is that a triumph?" Nope.

    Hi, I’ve noticed that all 4 blinkers are on. Is that a standard option on the V9 ? My V7 don’t have this feature 😢

    • @bigdummy7872
      @bigdummy7872  Před rokem +1

      The v9 has factory hazzard flashers. The v7 does not, but I'm researching the possibility of installing the v9 switch controls onto the v7.
