About me - I'm Claire and I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose so much. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / insense. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery is indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

Levant is pretty for sure, not quite my style but i can see the appeal. I think Frangipani is still my overall favourite from Ormonde Jayne 👍

Great video Claire and yes you are right. OJ bottles have increased in size from 50ml to 88ml and of course with a price increase. 88ml bottle is now 175 pounds 😮

I seem to remember hearing OJ have repackaged again since they moved studios. And the 88ml has some significance in numerology to the owner. And 8 facets to the bottle. Summat along those lines I remember hearing in someone's video or podcast.
Levant is beautiful, you sent me a sample and I remember those ones you sent me were all superb. I seem to remember I did get the lily of the valley, but I also thought I got redcurrant so who knows why I thought that 😂
Thanks Em that’s interesting to know. I don’t think the notes in Levant are that distinctive, to me everything is softened and blurred by musk (in a good way of course!).
