    I am able to fit playmat in the top compartment with all my deck boxes. The trick is to roll the mat loosely.

      You are right! Thanks for letting me know. I figured out why I was having trouble. I was using Prisms in my testing. I can get the container closed if I roll the mat loosely and I'm using Boulder 100+. But if I use a BCW Prism, it's too tight. I'll pin your comment so folks will know. Thanks again!

    Awesome review, awesome intro. And my hangers all say “Mens Warehouse” too. 😂
    Also, real talk, I super appreciate your attention to detail on things like zipper pull and hardware quality. Other reviews usually focus just on how much it can hold and whether or not stuff falls out.

    I like how it looked like it could hold a Prism without stretching but since I only have one Prism I don't think I'll swap my Quiver out for one anytime soon. Will definitely get one if I do wind up getting more Prisms though.

    • @beyondthedeckbox
      @beyondthedeckbox  Před 2 lety

      I was happy to see it held Prisms. I think Gamegenic was trying to ensure it would hold their Sidekick boxes, and since those are a shade larger than a Prism, it was happy coincidence.

    I personally don’t bother with deck boxes anymore since I bought this and it keeps me at 6 decks max for EDH. Any more than that and I will simply tear one apart. This this will fit 600 individual cards double sleeved using the sealable sleeves and unfortunately not more. I think if you use just regular perfect fits you can fit in some tokens with the decks, but that’s not how I roll, so I can’t comment on that. I do fit some dice at the top, nothing too big, and I use a sandwich bag and fold the bag to hold the tokens together when it sits in the top compartment. This thing should come with enough dividers to separate a minimum of 6 decks, but it doesn’t, which is my only gripe about this thing.
    Thanks for tipping me off about the mat being store up top! I might see if I can configure things to fit a set of dice, tokens, and my mat!

    Say you were to fill this with 24 cubeshells/cubamajigs, how many basics would you estimate having room for in this? Could you fit 200-250 basics?

  • @DigitalD20

    Love that you showed if Prisms and Boulders would fit.
    HOWEVER
    I'm looking for that exact information but for a Quiver.
    Do you know if a Quiver can hold Prisms? If so, 5?
    If not are Boulders the best box to use in a quiver or are there other options?
    I really like how the Prisms look I'm just afraid to order any if they won't fit in my Quiver.

      It can! I tested it last night and it can hold 4 prism perfectly. I actually just released my Quiver review today and I'll admit I forgot to test prism's for the video. I'll put this note in the description and pin a comment. Thanks!

    I'm going to say it. Yes.
    I bought two Bolts and they barely held anything. All that praise and they dont hold any of my nice ultimate guard decks.
    Well. They can fit my 100 sidewinder sideways so maybe 2 100s? I use one for my only current commander deck and my token box and spindowns.
    this thing is great, I have to put my sidewinders in there on their back but it holds FIVE of them! Which is perfect.
    9/10.
    so ya, it'd be a 10/10 if it was a bit taller. Then I could fit my sidwinders in there normally and use that nice pouch for some playmats and dice or something.
    I pair this up with a backpack that currently carries, an arkhive 400 which holds 7 60boulders, 3 playmats, a dice and token container, a dice bag full of extra dice, and a few spare decks.
    I use this thing for my nice decks and it works well enough.

    • @beyondthedeckbox
      @beyondthedeckbox  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I can't say for sure as I don't have one of those. I did take a look at the box online and it looks to be about the same size (roughly) as the Gamegenic Sidekick. The Sidekick does fit in this with room to spare. So I think it might fit, but again, I don't know for sure. Sorry I don't have a more definitive answer. I hope it helps!

    • @beyondthedeckbox

      Since I've made the video I've been able to get playmats to fit. I think I was being too precious with my playmats and was worried the would crease. Since then I've been testing it and I haven't had an issue. It is tight though, even if you lay them on their sides but it can work. Hope that helps!

      @@beyondthedeckbox Thanks. What kind of deckboxes are you using to do this? Those 3.187"/81mm Prism boxes look like they're to the brim and won't possibly fit a playmat; are you using another kind of box for this?

      @FDS I bought the gameshell. I love it! It fits my 100+ boulder, satin tower, and dragonshield double shell with some loose cards too. I'm too afraid to put anything in the top zipper compartment with exception of the lowest of profile odds and ends. I wish gamegenic would make a quiver equivalent playmat bag that pairs with the gameshell. Oh, and the zippers are awesome and durable so far.

      Those are cubeamajigs. They are small plastic packets that are used for cube drafting or Jumpstart packs. Cardamajigs, who make tokens, are the ones who make them. Burger Tokens makes them as well in different sizes.

    This was terrible. Everything in this video was so dark. You're filming a black card case; put some light on it, that isn't yellow, so we can actually see the details that you are talking about. Also stop doing these long glamour shots where it is out of focus, then in focus, then out of focus again; because you only leave it in focus, for maybe a half a second; which again, is not long enough to see the detail you are describing.
