I'm the same way & I've been playing Splatoon since near the end of 2015. I still sit at a solid B- in that game & I barely even touched it in the third but I do Splat Zones every now & then because of all the practice I have in turf war, it helps. Back during the first game, Tower Control was my favorite, I ran Splash-O-Matic in it because it had suction bomb & the suction bomb rush & I have this weird anxiety about not being able to throw a bomb onto the tower. Even though I enjoy it, I still am too afraid to do TC because I have this fear that I'll screw up & everyone will hate me. Last time I did Tower Control was when Splatoon 2 was still somewhat new.
I'm that mad man that absolutely loves riding the tower. its useful to me how most of you go to the front, that way I get to make good progress and destroy whoever gets close! have to say, splat roller works really well with riding the tower

i spent a solid hour trying to find a good clip so i took what i could find and also -2300 WHAT
@@_EthanStone not kidding but she managed to make a breakthrough in her playing, and climbed out and went on to go to S+10 before stopping playing for the season
I don't play splatoon but i think Anarchy (series) and salmon run are the most fun to watch. Also as a side note, the Vtuber you showed in 0:30 even went as low as -2300 before bouncing back haha

I love solo Qing clam blitz. I thinks it’s one of the easiest modes because there’s always going to be places for an easy push. Nobody really knows how to play clam blitz and it makes it way easier on someone like me who isn’t really that good at the game. What I HATE about it though is that teammates will be so busy trying to keep control of mid that they forget to defend our base and let single enemy attackers just waltz in and snag points. I try my best to keep an eye out for them to compensate, but I just cannot cope with those godamn BRUSHES, man.
Clam blitz + brushes = Chaos
clam blitz has been me and my friends’ fave mode since it got added into splatoon 2. only pvp mode that requires you to actually use your brain. not that i don’t like tower and rainmaker though.

Honestly? Rain maker's my favorite only because they add in flank rputes that allow you to interact with the enemy team, especially maps like bloody mincemeat

Turf war because I have no friends to play with and get aggressively upset in any game mode because I can't communicate with anyone. Not that we can in turf war but less planning is required to win that

salmon run is my favorite, but personally, i like it because teamwork is the main focus. i'm very much a casual player who likes to do everything, though. except rainmaker, it stresses me out too much ówò;

oh, maybe do can do a "what your favourite sub weapon Says about you?" ..... no, not me countring each and every curling bomb I get and doing a youtube channel about it, and making 2000 curling bomb splats for splatoon 2 to honor the number 2 on that game, and not me working on doing the same for splatoon 3, while counting each one I uploaded to my youtube channel, that I now have around 450 or something, and planning to stop at 3000 because splatoon 3 has the number 3 on in, no.
Though realistically, the average person that has the curling bomb as their favourite sub weapon, probably would say something like "I like to swim fast in straight lines", "I like bouncing stuff", or "I like that canadian sport".... but to me, it is "People say it is almost impossible to get kills with these, so I took it as a challenge, and feel so achieved each time I get one" :).
The anarchy battle series is an unfair assessment. I got to S rank through that.

I like X battles because i was a X rank player in splatoon 2. I kinda hate the fact that you can unlock it once you hit S+, you end up somehow always with horrable teammates when it's that low of a requierment to play in it. But yeah, i agree i need to seek help
I live in Turf War just because it's fun as hell. I don't really wanna get into the game competitively (if there's one game I wanna do competitively it's Smash Bros, I don't wanna do competitive Splatoon along with Smash since I'd have to focus on getting good at two games at once)
last season I was one of those people at -1000 ranked points, now I almost only play anarchy open but salmon run and tableturf are also really fun tho

My favorite mode is Splat Zones, followed closely by Tower Control. Zones because I play Explosher and Tower cause I play vanilla Splattershot and I can get so many free kills with suction bombs.

asking genuinely: why do so many people hate blitz?? outside of youtube videos i’ve never heard people complain about it.
people just didnt understand how to play the gamemode when it came out and it was just an easy joke to say on youtube to make viewer laugh so it just stuck around on youtube. Irl people know how to play the game and its mostly newbies that dont understand core mechanics that hate it
