    Wow, that is some attractive pricing! If the quality is there they might really have something. At 230lbs I sure would have loved that 170L board to learn on. And be able to sit on. Actually float and paddle it home if it fails. Take my dog with me. etc

    Thank you, and as always a great video! I was very interested in this company earlier this year. I just couldn’t hold out and went with Flite. Reason I was interested in this company was that it seemed to offer many of the qualities of Flite at a more attractive price. If I get a second board, I would seriously consider Sifly.

    Great Video Mike. And this looks like a real competitive set up. I imagine they are aiming squarely at the rental market. The large volume boards allow a lot of us bigger Americans ☺️ access to the sport, and if you can “fly” during or after one lesson it’s something folks can try out when they are on vacation. 👍 If they are reliable and safe every high end resort will want a fleet of them to rent out. Available in the USA ??

    More beginner friendly than Waydoo 🤔? Waydoo board shape, V Hull, and EPP foam material makes it super forgiving. Optional flyer pod inflatable. This unique things are super ...
    But after continuing to watch to the end, I learned about additional features that may actually make it a new contender for the most beginner friendly board.
    1.) Larger volume board for incredible stability. Wider nose than Waydoo
    2.) additional safety cutoff
    (though I must say I don't like suggesting dropping remotes with lanyards. It might flop around and hit the rider in the head or the board and damage person or equipment. I prefer the Lift style of a wrap around the hand for dropping a remote) I'll support any idea to improve and add safety.
    3.) Upcoming EPP board for softer impacts?
    4.) Larger weight limit to allow access of wider range of weight and sizes of riders
    Handles on the board are attached at the sides or top edges of the board, similar to Waydoo. This looks better and keeps the handles out of the way compared to others that rise high from the top of the deck like arches.
    Front wing attachment looks like Fliteboard. Compatible by chance??
    The prop shroud has many fingers. What is the purpose of this design?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  Před rokem +1

      I can't say if it's better or not but for sure more options the better for the industry! Thank you for detailed comment. I am not sure about compatibility question and the purpose of shroud fingers.

      @eFoilLakePowell Před rokem

      @@JetSurfingNation "better" will always be an individual, subjective, and a preference thing to an extent.
      Once someone learns to fly, some beginning friendly features are no longer necessary. The easier and safer it is to learn, the better it will be for the teacher and the student and eFoiling as a whole, especially for locations where eFoiling is not permitted for the present time due to safety concerns (even if those concerns are exaggerated or irrelevant to current innovation)
      A few things I like better on Waydoo are; slightly quicker connection of equipment and battery. The mast fits flush with the bottom of the board, and it seems Waydoo is quieter? (But SiFly might have higher HP considering it has a higher weight allowance?).

    • @siflye-foils1863
      @siflye-foils1863 Před rokem +1

      Hi! To answer your questions:
      1) Yes. It is compatible.
      2) The prop guard is designed like this for efficiency reasons. A full cover prop guard displaces the rider when in turns. The "fingers" enable the stream of water to pass through, thus preserving to a higher extent the normal flow.

      @@JetSurfingNation en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freudian_slip :-) but a board that can fly at 15 km/h would be the thing I'd choose for every beginner. It's something like the Fliteboard air with the bigger cruiser wing. That really makes things easier.
