One thing to keep in mind with kids, higher price might be a waste of money, but so can be low price. What matters is for a young rider a bike at their comfort level. A kids that has to think twice going over a hill, because of the weight of the bike or a poor suspension will probably get discouraged. This bike with few minor upgrades might be what is needed, not a strong brand name, that weighs too much and has a poor suspension. Ultimately the child will have to go ride in a track to see if they really want to do it and under-power, can also discourage so be cautious of day and time of track and type of kids track.
Absolute garbage and really dangerous for kids. Bought the Holeshot 50cc and the throttle sticks wide open. It was a birthday gift for my daughter. When I contacted them they said they wouldn’t replace the defective parts because it was out of the 30 day warranty… i contacted them less than 60 days after purchase. I can’t let my daughter ride this thing, it’s dangerous! Total junk, buy from a reputable company that will replace defective and dangerous parts.

Brace the engine mount plate. That will help keep your chain in alignment.

A little screw up on the throttle!
How do i regulate the throttle?, So that it goes at minimum speed for the kids?
there is 2 screws on throttle body. you need to move the screw to the top hole to limit power output

Bought my kid one last week. Wouldn't idle and now won't start. Drained and refueled it, cleaned carb and jets, etc. Garbage.
Mine was really difficult to start, put in an e3 plug and turned the idle screw 1 turn clockwise. Seems better
