I have the Solo Campfire stove and it works great. Just like the lite, it burns through fuel quickly so you definitely need to be prepped. A cool trick is to cut a small log that is smaller than the inner diameter of the opening and throw it in after you develop a good bed of coals. It lowers the heat and gives you a longer burn which I find better for cooking food on. I have the tripod kit also which is another way to regulate the heat, but it doesn’t help unless you have a bail on the pot so using a skillet is best with the log o’ fuel method. 🍳

Great review, it's nice little stove, with alcohol option, in case everything is wet, it's got you covered, and best of all it fit's in side your GSI pot .very cool. Thank you Brother. God bless 🙏

I have their Bonfire edition that I use logs in, and the thing is tremendous. Gorgeous flames, a great centerpiece for the deck.

I've tried a few things with my solo lite. With sticks and small wood blocks (1/2×1/2×2.5") lights easily and can boil 16oz of water in 9 minutes with the initial fuel load. More fuel can be added for additional heating. With a Pathfinder alcohol stove inserted in the solo lite,it can boil 2 16oz pots of water in 10 minutes . Using wood pellets. It is the most difficult to get lit and will boil 2 16oz pots of water before the flame goes out with the initial fuel load. But stays hot for 20+ minutes. Lower heat cooking is possible with the coals. Twigs or pellets can be added to extend heating time. A good handful of pellets were used and a sandwich sized zip lock would hold several uses and is easy to carry for a primary or back up fuel source. A 20lb bag of pellets was 7$ at wallymart.

I love my solo stove!!! I recommend the stove over my msr for anything more than an overnight. If this ends up in a box, it will totally be awesome!!!!!

I like it. I've got three different stoves but they all take specific fuel. It'd be nice to have one of those where I could use what's available on the ground instead of being worried that I have enough fuel if I'm stuck out for an extended time.

I wouldn't mind having this stove in a mission box. My question though is about the grate. It looks kind of thin from what I can see by the video. Would it need to be replaced often or is it more heavy duty then what I can tell?

Titanium Firebox is at 1oz and collapses flat, that is too bulky for backpacking

Same diameter as a standard Nalgene bottle but half the height. Nest perfectly inside the Solo 900 ml. pot.
