    "...the way is very long, and the winning very short"
    That's a gold line that (sadly) sums up sports extremely well 👏

    El comienzo de este documental es una experiencia audiovisual sublime.Margarita preparándose para una competencia ,palabras de aliento y de concentración de Amina su entrenadora. De fondo la omnipresencia de Viner, una leyenda, y la protagonista de la historia,tan sólo su presencia es más temida por Margarita que las notas de los jueces , rogando a Dios que la guíe. Maravilloso.

    Filmed beautifully like a movie, and also subjective like one...

    • @LuLu-vf6py
      @LuLu-vf6py Před 4 lety +14

      Why subjective? Marta Prus just filmed the way to the Olympics, without personal comments... so actually it's very objective

      @@LuLu-vf6py because even a documentary can be biased and subjective. By editing. By deciding what to leave out, what to put in. By the fact you cannot film everyone 24 hrs. By not being able to know what they really think or feel inside.

      I read an interview with Marta Prus, the filmmaker. She said that Irina Viner liked the film because she felt it showed the real life of rhythmic gymnastics.

      @@LuLu-vf6py maybe because it didn’t show the pressure on Irina to produce a winner. She looks like a mob boss (or something worse that I’m not going to say) with that silly hat. I don’t get why it’s so important for any country to dominate a sport. It’s not a war.

    this is so stupid how is any person going to be the best in his/her sport if they don't work so hard. look at where she is right now, one of the best rhythmic gymnast and she did it by working hard
    And why would she even continue to do this if she does not like the sport
