1990s Style 75 Gibson Copy from First Quality Music back in the day when Bill Sullivan was doing it right! This banjo comes with a very nice hard shell case made my Cedar Creek Case Company and it is a rich brown color.
The neck and resonator are made of genuine mahogany with a dark rosewood fingerboard and the banjo has a nice looking style 75 "J.D. Crowe or Reno" inlay pattern.
The metal parts are nickel plated and they do have some patina that we won't be attempting to clean as we like the looks of it and don't like wearing down the original plating that will likely patina again, given enough time.
This banjo has a new head, a fresh setup, a new bone nut, one of our Dotson banjo bridges and brand new stainless steel frets.
The case is a Cedar Creek case that is a rich brown color and is in good condition as well.
The resonator has some finish checks and this banjo has a speed neck. It feels fantastic, and it plays great with a rich, dry tone and plenty of volume. This is a great banjo!

Ive had a "check mark" shaped scratch on the back of my resonator that I thought I caused. This is actually due to aging??
