I think since they had already filmed three Chase episodes before allowing them to do their own version, the chasers probably had gone home. The Chase films three episodes a day and it is not back breaking work, but it is tiring filming shows like this.
If the prize money was real in the sidemen videos wouldn't it give them genuine incentive to do better and care more? It'd make the video miles better.
