Decide if you're going to wear them strictly on the court or as a casual shoe. If you're playing bball with them DO NOT wear them outside, bball shoes get dirty very fast cause they are only designed for the court. The traction will be very poor.

that actually kills the grip on the sole, water period isn't good for shoes, the grip becomes softer making it more vulnerable to wear and tear.
