Main question is, does this router connect to smart home devices? I've found them to be terrible when trying to connect to smart plugs bulbs, etc.. Unless of course you edit the settings on the router itself but what percentage are honestly tech savvy?

    Hi mate,
I wanna buy a router and I’m in between Asus RT-AX92U, RT-AX86U and ROG STRIX GS-AX5400, Tp-link Archer GX90. Which one of the best? I have budget to buy any of them.

Tplink has Bullshit limits on USB port. Dies this has any? Can I attach 7-8 drives to it with no issues?

Hi there, I'm trying to find out if the four ethernet ports deliver the same speed. As after setup I've noticed that the 1st port (gaming) comes up as 1GB and port number two says 100MB. I'm confused, shouldn't all four ports be Gbites?

      Routers have sim card slots?

@Darkkewlz Some routers that have modems do have sim card slots, but generally, you're better off with a seperate modem that has a sim slot.

@@polla2256 even so, using a router with a built-in modem (sim card), still functions as a LAN for the devices connected. Basically if you remove the sim card, you can still share files between devices connected to the router even though you cannot connect to the internet.
Wifi is just an invisible cable between devices and tgr router, It's like Bluetooth. Each device can talk with each other through your router this is called a LAN (local area network). Anything outside your house like the internet is called a WAN (wide area network),
