I have just a few of /real/ het ships, but this is definitely one of them. I think their relationship is one of the best written in tv shows' history, honestly. There is /so much/ in it. Trust, grief, frienship, understanding, acceptance, love. I can totally understand why Miranda's death destroyed him in such a way. When he says "I'm ruined over you" he definitely breaks my heart. I use to say that what you learn to love in the end becomes what you love the most. I think this is especially true for them.
