    On my Sirocco the worm drive that moves the white slider snapped in half. You can get cheap replacement latches for Golf, Passat's etc but the Sirocco one seems to be expensive, in the end I purchased one for a Goff, I removed the 'extra back cover as it's not needed. (My Scirocco uses both micro switches, they both have the metal 'lever' thing in place. The hardest part of the job it removing and refitting the boot trim and undoing the 12 point bolts that hold the latch in place. (I replaced them with standard hex bolts)

    I have absolutely no idea what you were doing these four minutes! Or why you were doing this.Obviously, you were attempting to 'fix" one of two micro switches in the trunk lock. {?}If it was simply to fix a micro-switch, could you not have diagnosed this with a continuity tester?

    I try to do like all the cap of the boton broke in peace 🤦‍♂️ but hey i fin out that you dont need that one and evreything work and it stop saying that the door is open lool
