There was a bit of a learning curve, but I figured out how to add color to glass for your mini jars, windows, or light fixtures. I show several different ways to achieve the effect so you can use what you have.
    I
    My fave things:
Miter Shears- this pair is highly rated and has replaceable blades
    amzn.to/3LchlUy
2 oz bottle of Diamond Glaze
    amzn.to/3zmMLR1
8 oz bottle of Diamond Glaze
    amzn.to/3zpiMbm
    Double-sided flooring tape
    amzn.to/423tJwL
    Mini Clamps
    amzn.to/3vBdc6U
Heat gun- I use mine to quickly dry paint, soften the glue to dismantle furniture and quickly cure polymer clay without an oven. Gets a lot hotter than a hair dryer.
    amzn.to/3YBAIcH
Craft heat gun that doesn't get as hot as mine
    amzn.to/3ZZ5wWe
Nail Studs- I like these because there are a variety of sizes in silver and brass
    amzn.to/3JEtJMd
For under $10, you get a variety of jump rings, lobster clasps and pliers
    amzn.to/3Zu7sGd
Paper fasteners & 1/8" hole punch
    amzn.to/3O5nYI6
I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, dioramas, accessories, kits and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I'm also working on a large Harry Potter build in 1" scale. I'm making the Gryffindor Common Room from scratch.

@@queencityminis : I haven’t tried using it yet. I bought sheets of Acetate and the glass paint to create some miniature stained glass windows and I haven’t pursued it yet. I have lots of ideas, but not a lot of motivation. I started making a Koi pond last year, but stopped. I just want to eat, sleep, and watch movies and these type of videos anymore. I haven’t gone to my gaming group in a while. I’ve just pretty much given up on anything.
I just don’t think anything I do matters or makes a difference.
I don’t think the paint needs to be heavy, unless you are aiming for a more opaque look. I suggested the Q-tip because it might have been easier to swab paint the inside instead of struggling with the paint brush. Later you were painting the outside, in which either method might be fine.
