Miss Peaches Eventful Weekend In The ER

- Miss Peaches had an eventful weekend. She ate a ton of Ice Breakers gum which is apparently wildly deadly to dogs. (BAN XYLITOL) So I rushed her to the ER where she spent 48 hours in the hospital. Thanks to Veterinary Emergency Group for the outstanding care for my baby girl. #misspeaches

❤ I believe the reason Miss Peaches loved being at that Vet is probably she remembers they were the first people that gave her loved after she was rescued. ❤❤❤

I have 2 rescue dogs, keep a list of foods toxic to dogs on refrigerator door. The rescue dogs are so loving and grateful. Glad your Miss Peaches has recovered so well, she's a real trooper. 🐶💕

Lost mine January of last year at est. 13. She was my first ever pittie foster and she was pretty much miss peaches' twin, physically and in every other way. She came to me overbred, sick and with health issues and down the line got diabetes. Taking care of her as I continued to foster more pitties was the center of my life, and I've been so broken since she died. Thank you for loving pitties - they truly are the absolute angels of angels.... the best.

Ok, legit in tears. Have been so desperate to see the little velvet hippo and even though you guys had a scare, she is so, so, so, so loved... and that makes me cry happy tears. Peaches is, to a T, my soul pittie's twin. I did the same after her cancerous thyroid removal, got right in the vet kennel with her as long as they'd let me. I miss her so much i can't stand it. There's no dog more deserving of a rescued home like this than a sugary sweet mama pittie. Save them all! Adopt adult pitties, people, please!! Well done, Dave! I think that EVERY new dog parent has that inaugural trip to the emergency vet....I certainly did! I am sooooo happy that your emergency vet is so amazing that Miss Peaches shows eagerness to go. Knowing that she did not feel anxiety on top of her physical health issues is a very positive thing. ❤ Also...the fact that you brought Miss Peaches' bed from home is 👍👍 in my book! And great job for maintaining positive vibes because dogs can definitely feel when their parents are scared, and that's never a good thing for their well-being. ♥️ Deep sigh of relief that Miss Peaches is home!! 🐾😊

Oh man, I totally stopped watching all BS/Dave content after a SM break and now I can’t get enough of Miss Peaches! She is the best thing to happen to you in awhile. Some pets are just extra special, we can learn so much from them! I wish Dave would open a huge sanctuary for animals like Best Friends in Utah. Do it Dave! I still say you need another weiner dog in your life at some point! 👍🏻♥️🐾
THIS! if I had half Dave's money, I'd have a big sanctuary loaded with rescues of all kinds. He can afford staff.... all of it. It's been my dream for the 12 years I've been fostering dogs but I spend most of the little I have on them. I so hope Dave will save more!!!

You have to scan ingredient lists for Xylitol and Birch Sugar. Common in gum and peanut butters and toothpaste!

My lab ate a whole pack of sugar less gum. He was fine. I hope Ms. Peaches is fine. The vet just said keep an eye on he. He also ate a whole pack of big marshmallows, and a whole bag of white bread. He lived to be 12 years old. Bless Jim. I miss him so much.
