A handy trick: If you put the sponge block in a closed off water area's, it'll suck up water really fast. Love the vid though! :D

Minecraft tip(s):
-You can use the night vision potion to see better underwater
-Sponges kinda suck but are OK for clearing out water
-Idk if you figured this out or not but you can fly underwater in creative mode
-Sea pickles act as a natural light source underwater if you dont want to use sea lanterns
-You can make a water elevator with soulsand (up?) and magma (down?)
-they changed water physics in mincraft so that why that happend with the ladder btw

Quick Minecraft tip: pressing the scroll wheel down while facing a block will give you that block in your hotbar

Just a little trick for quickly going up and down in the water:
I'd recommend making an elevator instead of using a ladder. That would be much faster and more convenient because of all the water!
To make an underwater elevator, just put down magma blocks (to go down) and soul sand (to go up) underneath any patch of water an there ya go! Just make sure to sneak when you go down in survival so the magma blocks dont do any damage

Another tip: plant a tree, and use "bone meal" on it... Its like fertilizer, and will grow any plant instantly

Ah i remember back when i was a kid i would build my skyblock base late at night, to get a headstart from all my friends the next day. I would always get sleepy... i didnt know back then but i was giving myself asmr building my base in the silence of night. good times

hey small tip use night vision potions if you’re going to be underwater :)
Minecraft is relaxing by itself so when you make an asmr video it gets 10 times better, it's like peanut butter and jelly sandwich peanut butter is good and jelly Is good but mixed together it's INCREDIBLE

This is perfect I love to make underwater bases just like in subnautica and this is a perfect seed for it
I loved Subnautica.
If building underwater in survival, doors are really useful too, block out two blocks of water and you can stand and breathe in the space - or does that not work anymore? Conduits are a good idea too. When breaking a tall stack of sand, just break the bottom block and quickly place a torch - the rest will just fall and break automatically - and it's very satisfying :D
I dislike it when people are judgemental about gaming or act like there is only one good way to play a game. Not everyone wants the same things out of a game. I really like going in naive and learning as I go, and appreciating the game world so I like watching people who play that way. I would never watch someone who plays with a focus on combat or skill or speed or playing in a way that breaks immersion etc although I know lots of people go for those things.
u should make a video just on exploring the world and talking abt it. that would be relaxing too!

You should use optifine and enable connected textures. It will make glass and other blocks look much better
You can put a sponge in a area full of water and it will get rid of the water, you can also put bonemeal on the saplings and they will grow
If you hit f3 it'll give you the direction you're facing and abunch of other info such as block coordinates. Also can sink with shift.
One way that to remove water faster is the sponge block, also hold shift to make you sink faster.

Btw if you put a torch under stacks of gravel or sand, it breaks all of the blocks without having to individually breaking them
