Met a one of a kind man the other night and he was so full of love and life. Wishing he could have something he feels he doesn’t deserve. We talked so much that night and I was so excited/amazed by him and he explained he was a father and quite vulnerably he wanted to hear me love him back. It’s hard to describe how much I cared for him but couldn’t compromise due to so much loss and grief I’m undergoing at this time. But that didn’t mean I didn’t want to know him more, that night I could see fear and sadness in him- I later learned that he wouldn’t ever be able to try due to a controlling relationship and his kids being held over his head. He’s in a tough situation and he himself decided to let me go and have faith that things could change. That destiny could maybe bring us back together in the future, all to say I sent him this song to encourage him to fight until he makes it out and rely on people that do care. 🎵 sometimes you just have to focus on getting better. ❤️🩹

earlier, i just got reprimanded by my brother, asking me what’s wrong with my academic performance and telling me that he knows i’m responsible enough to know what i should do, what i need to prioritize the most. i’m on the verge of crying, because i know how disappointed he must be that i’m not doing well with my acads. then suddenly, my best friend sent me this song, that exact time when i’m on the verge of crying. i listened to it, and i’m focused on hearing the lyrics well, so i will be aware of what the message is. it’s about hope, it’s about cheering me up, to heal, that i can heal slowly and to show them how brave i am. so yea, i cried, i let out a great cry, because that friend knows exactly when i need her, her message for me that she can’t seem to put into words, this is it. i’m not even telling her yet, i was just about to tell her what happened. maybe she’s God’s way of telling me that it’s alright, it will be fine. so yea, long story short lol, i’m listening to this while doing my schoolworks, and WHILE CRYING. thank you so much for doing this. this is a great song to listen to. :’))
