- Hey Guys, after buying 45 used phones from Back Market in the last 6 months I wanted to make a video on my overall take on this used tech site. Back Market is getting really popular and more people are using it, but I don' think anyone's bought as many phones as I have through them, so you should be getting a good idea of what your phone will be like if you decide to order a used phone.

Ebay seller Supplytronics does NOT check their iPhones. If it looks good they will sell it in Excellent condition. You will receive it, spend hours setting it up and transferring all your info and service and it will then be defective. Massive headache. Read they're 375 negative and neutral feedbacks on how they sell junk. You have been warned, avoid this seller.

I purchased a iPhone X through Back Market last week and although the phone looked brand new the "Maximum Battery Capacity" was at 73%. With all the rigorous testing these phones are supposed to go through I'm not sure how something like this happens? Anyway I am in the middle of the return process waiting for the seller to receive the defective phone I sent back. I know Back Markets policy states the seller has 3 days to make this right but after the battery fiasco I don't know how well the seller pays attention to detail.

Dang sorry that happened, 73% battery health is super low! What condition did you get it in? I’ll have to make another video sometime because a lot of people are having to return the phones!
@@lisanbradshaw I purchased the phone in excellent condition and other then the battery the phone was in excellent condition. It looked absolutely brand new so much so I hated to send it back. I started to just keep the iPhone and have Apple replace the battery but that would have been another $100 plus the headache of driving to a Apple store a couple hours away. Do you think it is best to ask for repair or replacement in a situation like this? Thank you once again for all the great content and especially for reaching back out to me.
I’d ask for replacement because they may create other problems replacing the battery. It depends on the vendor, but some vendors aren’t the best at replacing parts.
@@lisanbradshaw During the initial return process I was adamant that I wanted a replacement iPhone sent back in place of the defective one. Hopefully the seller has another iPhone X in stock but if not I will find another one to buy once I get my refund.

Very helpful Backmarket is my got to to buy reasonable prices on iPhones 📱 I bought 5 one last yr in 2021 it’s mine personal phone 📱 ip 11 mint green in good condition the next 4 phones are all iPhones 📱 my moms phone ip XR in coral in excellence condition is the category I choose my dads and my aunts ip XR my dad in white my aunt in black in good condition then my most recent would be my sisters ip 11 in purple overall all the phones are fully functional mine already pass the 1 yr warranty it’s still functional what I’m saying is all the iPhones that I purchased from Backmarket are fully functional I’m a satisfied customer 😊

how does none of these you show has an important display message ..i mean for sure at least one mustve had a screen replacement .now either you bought them specifically with original display specified or you are buying them from apple cause theres just no way theres not even one message on them and the screens all look original.on the other hand you ve shown abt battery and other parts being replaced ..just seems kinda odd ...i m just saying from experience if there is a part that has been replaced it woud more likely be the screen than any other part and its just not the case for not a sigle one of these phones ive seen on your chanel

Should you return the iphone if it has non genuine apple parts like the screen or battery? Or wait until the battery replacement dies out and then get a new battery through Apple?

Yes. They'll ask you to return the phkbe with everything that came in the box, including the proof of purchase slip and take pictures beforehand. Its easy

I bought a laptop, had a problem with it and they honoured the warranty. They gave me a full refund because they couldn't replace it.
They also gave me a 5% off next purchase voucher when I used on the next laptop which has been great so far.

I would not purchase anything from them as they sell phones in excellent condition and they end up with scratches all over them. They have zero quality control.

thieves - I ordered a huawei p 50 pro - they never put it in the packaging (certified by dhl France and Greece) the mistake but they want my details - identity - RIB BANK ACCOUNT - copy of complaint to the police
Only French banks have a RIB BANK ACCOUNT - I'm from Greece, so I don't have one!!!
police copy - I have to pay extra money about 150+ for translation into French and for the drafting of the complaint by a lawyer - all this out of my own pocket
and all this NOT TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK BUT TO START AN INVESTIGATION INTO WHAT HAPPENED
For those who don't believe, I send them the evidence - if it was a serious company, they would sue me for defamation, but how dare they!!!
