Iran is a country that floats on huge amounts of oil and gas, but its people are poor. Israel has military power, but its people are insecure. The reason is the existence of two extremist and incompetent regimes who don't know how to use resources they have very well. If both regimes had preferred peace in the region instead of expansionist agendas to restore the glories of ancient empires, or to achieve religious goals. The Jews, Persians, Arabs, Turks, Kurds, and the rest would have been able to cooperate to develop the region, as the Europeans did, despite the diversity of their ethnicities and their lack of resources comparing to the Middle East, which is considered the richest spot on the planet !!

They have a wonderful people and culture, and most of the Saudis and I would like to host them so that they can explore our culture as well. If Iran were a poor country, I would understand the reason for hostility against neighboring countries, even if it was wrong. But Iran is a rich country and can be self-sufficient and cooperate with us and with the other Gulf oil countries to help the poor countries rise again.

How can Israel sustain its unity after October 7? Since the October 7 attack, we are not expressing hatred toward each other because our pain is much greater. But we are not far from how things were before October 7. We could return to that previous state in a matter of days.

A captured Hamas terrorist who participated in the October 7 attacks stated how the ongoing protests and demonstrations in Israel encouraged Hamas during their preparations for the attack.
When outside influences that pressure the formation of our unity move away, internal feelings of hatred resurface. We might believe that coming closer during tough times lets us develop while maintaining that closeness. However, this idea is incorrect.
We need to undergo a reset and rebuild our unity from scratch, without external pressure dictating our actions but out of our own choice to live in a common connection to each other, with a spirit of unity, support, care, encouragement and closeness dwelling in our relations.
When we are in a conflict of opinions, we need to equally respect those who we are against, acknowledging that they might also be right and have their own opinions, and that their opinions represent other people and citizens. Thus, we indeed should take heed to treat each other with more kindness.
Unity means that we are ready to set aside our own opinions in order to unite with others.
First, of all you are wrong. Iran is not a rich nation it's economy is three times smaller than that of US State of North Carolina and that US state does not have vast fields of oil and natural gas. But in US we invest in our people. In Iran there is no "Free Press" and no "check on power" so "Corruption" runs rampant and if you complain about it, look out you will be attacked.
