Damn. Dishonored 2 runs well. I was abit worried about getting that, since i also have 8 GB, but reccommended specs for it is 16 GB, but it runs remarkably well. And that's on ULTRA.
Are yoy using the same laptop to record? Coz if not then these games might be running in a bit of higher fps right?

I might get a Dell Inspiron 5577 with an Intel i5 7300HQ (2.5 GHz) 8GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1050 4GB VRAM, and a 1TB HDD with 5400rpm. Is this good enough for high settings? For like Fortnite, PUBG, Tekken, Call of Duty, CS:GO? Will its performance last long enough for future games? (I'm new to gaming on a pc so I'm not good with specs)

What would happen for fps if you used 4 gb version of gtx 1050?
Should've turned off the 30fps lock on Arkham Knight. My laptop can easly run it with 60fps (GTX 1050 4gb, core i5 7300hq without overclocking)

undervolt that 7300hq and youll improve fps by limiting heat that throttles the i5. I can post my set up if you're interested, my cpu doesn't go above 65c. This helps the gpu as well by keeping the system overall cooler.
I’m interested if you could hit me with those settings. I find my i5 7300hq to struggle processor heavy games like vermintide 2 and destiny 2. Looking for ways to improve

You tested doom earlier video, i was only managing mediun, woth the same exact set up in a laptop, any ideas why? I did have a download in the background would that affect gameplay?

One question, does anyone think that an i7 7700hq will make much of a difference? I'm looking at two laptops here in Brazil, one is around 850$ and the other is 950$. The first one is equipped with a gtx 1050 and an i5 7300hq, while the second one has a gtx 1050 and an i7 7700hq. Would the i7 justify the 100$ difference? (both of them don't come with a SSD, and with 100$ I could get a really nice m.2 Nvme SSD...)

Depends on how good the cooling on it is. And if you've removed all bloatware. But yeah, I think it's pretty safe to say that you can RUN all these games. I can't confirm you 100% that they'll run on ultra, but in my opinion high is perfectly fine on most games.
make sure bro your ram is in dual channel. We have the same laptop but i only have 1 stick of 8 gb ram so it means it's running on single channel. I will get another stick of 8gb so it will be dual channel. Then your fps will be stable. I get alot of fps drops in gta v online on my single 8 gb ram.

Olek54321 more than fine. You'll be able to run modern games at least on High 40 - 60 fps . Some GPU eating games like witcher between medium and high . And some older games even on ultra.

How can you play fallout 4 in ultra settings but with high fps? My fallout 4 is in normal settings to play that fps and we have the same specs in everything. And in all games that I have has similar benchmark results to yours except fallout 4

More ram will be good, it quite easy to upgrade ram on laptops, I would get 8gb or 16 if you're doing high end stuff.

alright you got the FPS, which you should know about. Then there's the CPU and GPU temps, which are on Celsius, if the CPU isn't above 85 and the gpu above 75 then you're good to go and apparently this laptop keeps that in check. Next to those you can see the % of that component that's being used, not thaat important. There's also the amount of RAM being used down below and MEM1 I don't really know what it is lol.
