  • Work on a Stern World Poker Tour pinball machine with drop targets that will not stand up/reset. It turns out there's a Service Bulletin issued from Stern on how to address this, but as you'll see, my quest to fix this problem resulted in uncovering several other problems. Part 2 of 2. Thanks for sharing your investigation about that problem. That kind of knowledge usually helps to fix another kinds of mechanism which works in similar ways.
    Greetings from Buenos Aires 🙂

The plunger shaft is the proper part as long as the diameters the same it was long as you saying you ground that down you could always take the Nut and threaded shaft out and put a bolt in if you wanted to. Why don't you use the broken one you've got in your hand? Just take the thread out? Do they use any Loctite on the threads you know! you might need to heat it up with a the blow torch first, if that's the case. But first just get a small chisel and try and do it with that a small chisel. if that's fails you can get unthread taps usually buy them in sets of 6 and put it in the drill and it will bite into it in the opposite direction to undo the bolt.

John sweda that’s what I was thinking. Get the thread out and use the original part.
