What benefit could 1 rep squat or deadlift even do?
Stroke your ego in a wholesome and polite manner😃
It's a test of your one-rep max - an all out lift. To your point, one rep doesn't provide much benefit to strength or muscle gains, but that isn't the point of a one-rep max, it is intended to test if your strength had improved.
Tests your strength so that you can properly program the amount of weight to lift in the future
Test strength
You don't need 1rm to figure out your strength. It's ego
Hey they still looked impressed a little ego lifting once in a life time or twice is not wrong I highly doubt most people that started doing body weight push ups had perfect form let alone that much weight on squat it’s my opinion if ego lifting bother you then maybe you should Think about making a home gym
Was that impressed? They looked like they were laughing at him or about to
@@BizeecentralI’m the begging yes but then they shook they’re head approving it look closer perhaps look sowewhere else rather then scrolling through CZcams with negativity
I wouldn’t call it an ego lift if it worked out
@@chrism.1749 its still an ego lift even if it works out. 😆
@@Iraqihayderr i usually say the same thing but i cant stand when people appear to be laughing at others doing something they couldnt stand a chance at doing
thought he was mad ego lifting looking for multiple injuries, till i saw how easily those plates flew up
@SquatUniversity, a long time ago I also saw a tip explaining also get your hips properly centered during setup to make sure you in line. I basically squeeze the glutes and quads while doing a little shift with my waste from left to right making sure my engagement is good, then proceed with the lift. This is all done once I have the weight on my shoulders. I find that this helps with my mind muscle connection while also making sure I am properly centered before the lift starts.
The second (demonstration) squat was satisfying to watch
Every step he took with those socks had me ready to die from cardiac arrest, exhausting to watch that..
That testosterone boost from gaving 3 girls warchibg must have been insane
All the girls creepin
Impressive weight, props for the effort.
Also looks like a lot of instability. Maybe down a bit and first core work and support exercises.
The man in the purple shorts was crazy. If you play contact sports and lift weights for it you really really notice the moment his hips lock and he drives it up. Trademark technique wow
Bro in the video meant to make it look like he was REALLY struggling and the dude says that was the problem 🤣
I'm impressed he did it with non grip socks
If the roles were reversed he would be posted on TikTok as a “gym creep”
Who broke that guy yo who broke him he ain’t supposed to be like that 😭
Dude almost kills himself at the end😂😂
I used to rep 475 when I was a junior softball girls were in the field house doing their little practice but no one noticed we were all focused on trying to bring a championship back to our school
Another issue is the bar looks to be set high, but he hit it, good job on him!
ain’t gonna lie. since the girls were watching. i was rootin’ for ya. 👊
In your right way example dude looks spread eagle in the arms. Thought I had learned from you tight in arms for latt engagement was preferred for spine stability.
Love this dude always giving facts, I like me some facts.
While I'm definitely not moving that kind of weight, Im still experienced enough to not qualify what this man did here as a squat. Not parallel and primarily used his back rather than legs to move the weight up.
This guy has such a "know-it-all" vibe
Sorry for the bro for experiencing such stalkings
This squat guy just strong asf.
second dude looked like someone out of an anime
