- Tractor-wielding farmers from all over Germany have rushed into central Berlin to demonstrate against proposed budget cuts that will directly impact them. It is anticipated that some 3,000 farmers will arrive in a convoy around the famous Brandenburg Gate on hundreds of tractors.

German here. The farmers' protest was just the beginning. Many people expect a general strike on January 8, 2024 to bring down this eco-socialist government. We need an urgent change of political direction or Germany and the German people will be ruined for all times.
It’s actually a good thing calling the protest early, it keeps those in power on their toes as most politicians just sit on their arses and their hands out of either in someone’s pockets or down someone’s else’s pants.

Proud farmer of Sheep and cattle here. 2 farms, proud owner of 1700 acres of England, well cared for farmland with exceptional organic chemical free grazing with perfectly balanced wildlife and the cleanest ground water in the country. Never piss off the farmers.

Why are so many countries doing this? It seems like so many countries are making farmers abide by more pollution restrictions. The people support farmers.
It’s all about control the government wants to control everything that we do and if they take that away from us they won. The reason why that the EPA in all the regulations for environmental bullshit is to be able to control and regulate. Just like why are you not worrying more about corporate businesses that pollute more in a year than any car that’s on the road with diesel? Why are you not imposing diesel emissions on military? Why are you not imposing emissions in general on more stricter airlines. Planes and how many flights go out within a year combined doesn’t even equate to any of the cars are on this road today so it doesn’t make sense on why they’re imposing it to just the consumer it’s because of control.

Canadian farmers are feeling the pain too, paying hundreds of thousands in carbon taxes to the Canadian government too! I'm sure they would put on an equal protest, if the government didn't use the emergency act to freeze thousands of truckers bank accounts last year for protesting monitory vaccines!!

As farmers we don’t have the power grid in place, or the tractors, or the combines, or the factories underway to even build the transformers to upgrade the power grid. Ask yourself, what is the purpose of increasing the cost of food production?

As the News Station correctly explained, this comes from the fact, the Government lost 60 Billion Euros because of a Court Ruling, therefore they need money, which they did by cutting Farmer subsidies. Not exactly a direct result of the sanctions against Russia
