This video was made the weekend we got delivery of the new DiBlasi. It's filmed on our old phones so please excuse the quality.

I bought the Di Blasi R34, as it was one of the smallest folding tricycle on the market. It can fit into the boot of a car or can be carried on trains or buses (when permitted).
The only other brand that folded up small was Etnnic Folding Trike (that one has two wheels at the front). There are a number of other tricycle brands which are cheaper, but they don't fold up particularly small. The fold design on the Di Blasi is clever, and yes it does work. The video is a fair and honest representation of how to fold and unfold (although I probably will be able to do it quicker with practice).
I bought the R34 for a family member who did n't know how to cycle. On her first ride, she was able to cycle like duck to water and she loved the tricycle. It has a low step over and is easy to get on and off. It has a brake switch, for when tricycle stationery.
However, when I rode the tricycle, I struggled to get along with it. I just kept going to the side. It is probably because I am used to a regular bicycle. I was told this is because tricycle have chains just on one wheel, the second back wheel is just pulled along. I am sure, I would have got used to it and learned its characteristics. In my opinion, it is worth going for a test ride, if you going to spend a lot of money.
It is possible to use the R34 without the battery back. Even if you run out of power, it is usable. You will not be stranded.
To adjust the seat height, you need to undo bolts, which is annoying if you have riders of different heights. I prefer quick release style adjustments.
The R34 has been around for a while. To held you identify. The earlier model did n't have the rear pannier and the fork was made of metal. The next model has a pannier rack and the fork is black plastic (probably making it lighter). The latest model has a pannier rack, with roller wheels, so you can pull the tricycle along. (Similar to the Brompton).
If you are buying those pedals with toe clips, then it is annoying as the strap tended to flop upside down (which is annoying it you don't use them or are switching between riders). I think you may be able to buy self-leveling pedals (but you need pedals which fold-in, otherwise the cycle will not fold).
The electric element is basic, no battery level indicator, no range indicator, no way to control how much pedeal assist. There is no speedometer or any clever smart gadget, which you may find in an e-bike.
Would be nice if there was a phone holder for sat-nav.... There are probably third party add-ons....
Overall it is a good tricycle and the best on the market (based on my research!).

Yes, everyone is different. :-) I thought it was OK, but only rid it for an hour or so. You would need to have a go, to see if it suited (it is hard to ride too). If you are in South Yorkshire you can borrow it for free. info@sheffieldcycling4all.org

Hi there, thanks for the video. i was thinking of buyign this E-Trike but i was wondering about the "seat height" as it might be too high for me (my feet to reach the ground, as i am only 4'9" and my inner legs measured 68cm and i have Myasthenia Gravis (legs unbalanced) so i wonder if it's hard for me to get on/off the seat? please advise thank YOU so very much.

Hi there, if you are based in the OK and want to call us Monday to Friday might be worth a chat. Otherwise, find someone who sells the trike are you interested in and they will help you. It may be that the seat post needs to be cut down a bit and that you put a different pedal on one side. There will definitely be a way.
