I Just ordered a new XP trike 2 weeks ago, with backrest seat. Got the seat in the mail 4 days later That is fast shipping. Hope the trike comes in soon, really want to try it out. Everything I see about them is good. I will give and update when I get a few miles on it. I am a 76 years old vet and not much into walking any more. I hope this trike will get me outside with my camera a lot more.

Ordered mine yesterday and can't wait... I was a Volunteer Ham Radio Operator, Storm Spotter for my Community in Decatur Illinois and activated a Warning Siren Network after confirming a sighting.. (Heroic Congressional Recognition). I was ground zeroed by an F-4 Tornado trying to evacuate a Mother & Baby from it's path back in 1996, Crushed my Pelvis and broke both Hips... (Chimney collapsed on me in her crawl Space) They came away fine... It's been tough for me just walking since and I've had 3 total Hip replacements, this bike will be a fun/safe way to exercise and get mobility back in my life at almost 70 years old now...
Lectric has sure made a great Product and should be praised for passing on the Value to it's Customers!!! I'm sure they will be blessed for Passing Forward this fine Trike to so many Seniors and others that are not Able Bodied enough for regular Bikes... Or, for those who just want the more stability that Tricycle platforms offer with some cargo carrying to boot!!! GOD BLESS!!! ;-)

I have had my Lectric Trike for close to two weeks and have enjoyed every minute riding it. I have two of their 2019 e-bikes, but the trike is a game changer for this 72-year-old Texan. I live in the hill country and the pedal assist hits the 4-5 range due to extreme inclines with no issues. I also ride it on a flat gravel road and sandy beach on the north shore of Lake Travis. Got to stop, time to go ride 4-6 miles to keep in shape!
Love you guys. I was able to unbox mine yesterday. I've got 24 miles on it so far. It does take some getting used to😮 However; Once comfortable, always riding🚲😉☮️

Spoke to a late 60's new owner a few days ago at the Riverwalk I was taking a break from riding at. He's had it for 2 weeks & traveled 200 miles. He has age related balance issues so an e-trike was the way to go for him. He couldn't have been more ecstatic with his purchase. He said he didn't mind it not having any suspension, other than the little bit the upgraded seat provided. It looks like a very well made e-trike & I'm sure they'll sell a ton of them. Looks very nice. I am thinking of Lectric whether or not it is the trike I do not know. Have a small car with OK trunk and hubby has his recumbent bike which so far, is not electrified. I ordered one of these for my dad can't wait I love all the features so far .He doesn't want a look like he's an old guy this is stylish yet will give him exercise and if he needs to rest sit and take a break. Love the whole thing about this! It will be hear Friday hopefully the weather holds out for him to gets some miles in before snow falls. I bought one last year. The display already went. They did send a new one. I also got the front basket which you have to take off if folding trike for transport. It does not fold as easy as he shows. At least not for two seniors working together. Folded you cannot maneuver it into your truck or SUV easily. We just settled for where we got it and packed around it. Not ideal. Also to put in our explorer we had to take off the seat. A pain but I know I’ll enjoy it during our 2 weeks at the beach.
Their bikes are fabulous! My grands hv the ones I bought (almost at first launch of company). I’d like a trike but can’t lift it into my suv. Will hv to consider McGivering a ramp or something. Maybe Lectric has already solved this problem for us older seniors??

Hi Russ, Did you do a review of the Lectric Trike> I see in your latest's videos you are using an ebike. You must still have good balance. Alex demonstrated the ability to fold the Trike into a more compact foot print. Alex didn't give the footprint size when folded. I would need to design a cargo platform to carry the Trike behind the RV connected to the hitch insert. Thanks

■■■...2 concerns: the tricycle layout tends to tip over VERY easily going around turns, two wheels in front is a far more stable setup...and a thumb blade style throttle setup is safer than this traditional grip throttle as if the bike gets away from you you will still be holding on the handle bars, continuing to accelerate.
That's why the speed is limited. If you get going too fast, it can shift the balance point forward and tip you if you try to turn. Definitely something to watch on hills. I personally would not buy from such a young, cheap company like Lectric for this reason--you can get more expensive trikes where rear wheels can move opposite to each other in turns to help prevent this. This is a selling feature they would have talked about if they had it so they must not.
Thumb vs. throttle is a personal preference. I expect if they're going for the "elderly" market as they seem to say in the video, arthritis and other issues that might be flared up by continuous use of one finger might be an issue. But I agree that for people not used to ebikes or twist throttles, it can lead to unexpected behavior if they turn it on before mounting. A bike company not repurposing parts to cut costs like Lectric probably would have added a switch to engage the throttle for this market segment.
I will get one next year all depend on the view’s and wish they get different colors like blue white, orange, green, yellow, pink, black purple rainbow then I will buy beautiful video. I will update this in one year real talk 2023.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Trikes appear more stable than they are at speed, especially a cheaper one like this. And operating a vehicle drunk is still illegal.
@Emma H what ever Emma. Or should we say karen. We live in the middle of the desert. I am pretty sure no one cares if we ride a trike if we are drunk. If we ever needed a cop it would take them a hour to get out here.

For some it’s a big deal to get out of the house and outside, you can pedal more as your heath requires. It’s a big deal for people with mobility problems.

Where are the black employees? I don’t think I saw even one in the batch! I also looked for Asians, but they were more difficult to discern. What about Native Americans and Hispanics? There is usually a warmer feeling when one can see a more inclusive workplace. These views reveals a lot more about the company than anything else.
