Joe could make a garden hose sound like a million bucks, I'm not really convinced

Solo 55 is what I'm on right now until my Greg Black gets made, but even then it may be hard for me to switch full time. The Laskey just feels really good.

I've got the 55 symphonic and I love it. Really easy to find the center of notes. I wish the gold plate was only on the rim though...

That is something that you should have ordered through mouthpiece express. They do custom plating work.

I got my Gold Plated Symphony 67 for what Mr Alessi wrote "maximum comfort and space". At 67 it really starts to feel like a base trombone mouthpiece (2G for 67, and 1.5G for standard bass trb.) But the sound is superb. I would describe the result as "powerful". However the 67 really requires a huge amount of air and complete knowledge on embouchure control. It definitely suits advanced and professional players.
Overall I like it ❤ no regret in buying at all! Thanks Mr Alessi!
