- In 1984, Elektra got the rights for the Imagination album "Scandalous". they released it under "New dimension" and the "State of love" was remixed by Jonathan Fearing.

Love this version of the song 👍🏾👏🏾👌🏾!! Been waiting for somebody to upload again. Thank you 🙏🏾! Though I do challenge that this version of the song 🎶 originated from ‘84, because it was played on NYC R&B stations from back in ‘82 (always remember this song from when Star Trek II - The Wrath Of Kahn came out). Up until a few several years ago (when I started looking up my 80’s songs on iTunes) this was the only version of the song I thought existed 🤷🏽♂️.
