We play these every time during our trips bro! Some of my favorite list: Twist from Love Aaj Kal Ab Toh Forever from Ta Ra Rum Pum, Ada from Garam Masala, Tum Mile I feel Good from Anjana Anjani Pyaar Impossible whole album, Choomantar from Mere Brother Ki Dulhaniya, Shut up & bounce from Dostana and Hey ya from Kartik calling Kartik
Glad to know that someone recognise KOI FARIYAD and that melody in the song..this is my one of favourite song not only because of jagjeet ji but of it's music. Appreciable work.
Great list. Some that deserve to be in the list are - 1) Dil Chahta Hain - Title track, Jaane Kyun, Kaisi hain yeh, Tanhaai, Title track revised 2) Jhankaar beats - Suno na 3) Shaan - Tanha Dil, Gum Sum ho kyun 4) Lucky Ali - Kabhi aisa lagta hain, Tanhai mein basi 5) Paap - Garaj Baras, Man ki lagan, Intezaar 6) Jism - Awaarapan, Jaadu hain nasha 7) Lakeer - Nach le, Paigaam, Shehzaade, Sadiyaan 8) Kuch na kaho - Acche lagte ho 9) Yeh Kya ho raha hain - Yeh Sama and Ooh yeh 10) Kyun ho gaya na - Aao na 11) Striker - Yun hua 12) Kaante - Maut, Rama Re 13) Pray for me brother - A.R. All songs are so nostalgic. Bought my entire childhood in front of me. Sad now bollywood make very rare of such songs. Pappu can't dance saala is also cool! 😅😅😅😅😅 😌😌😌😌
I'm sad that i stumbled upon this video after a year, but few songs that i would personally suggest were Dil Dooba from Khakee, Bardasht from Humraaz, all songs from Life in a metro. Oh boy! All these songs you listed were my playlists in 2000s. Great job man!
Why does this song has so much impact on me ..i dont even know how to express my feelings... when listening this song i feel as if im in some other world....or i feel like I'm depressed.
i clearly remember, at dat time i was in 7th standard, KOI FARIYAAD was d first song dat i really felt somewhere deep in my heart. I still have dat audio cassette. And from dat time till now i use to hear this ghazal. It always gives me a fresh feeling. It was my first love for the meaningful lyrics and soulful music..💞
Koi Fariyaad is my fav...😍😍 No doubt that it was way ahead of its time....and the voice of Jagjit Singh...Gajabb👌👌 Two more songs were there....Ab Toh Forever from Ta Ra Rum Pum☺️☺️ And Zara Zara from RHTDM
Literally, our beloved "K.K" was Diamond & still he is & forever he will be....❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ The only Singer....🔥🔥 Whose songs r more famous than his identity.... 💞 I never found any voice like K.K in modern era so far in this music industry..... K.K is irreplaceable what a magical voice he had....♥️♥️♥️ 1st nd last Western voice of India..... #LegendNeverDies....✍️✨✨✨
The 2008 album "Ghajni"...Also has a very catchy party songs which are far ahead of their time ..Such as "behka" "latoo" and "ae bachu tu sun le " all the songs are amazing 😁
Exactly it was a remake but the songs were such a bop...Lattoo was my favorite,I guess shreya sang it right, jiya khan did justice to that song too. Also the telugu ghajini songs were awesome.hrudayam ekkadunnade song radio plays were so high and its magic didn't fade even after so many years.I m sure u ll like telugu album too once u listen if u haven't already listened to it
I usually do not like remake songs, but "aoge jab tum" by neeti mohan, is sooo beautifully made, and the instruments used, as you say is so good fitted. Plz give a review.
1- dil kah rha hai ( kyuni) 2- my dil goes (salaam namaste) 3- teri aankhe bhool bhulaiya (bhool bhulaiya) 4- tanduri nights (karz) 5- its time to disco (kal ho na ho ) 6- twist ( love aaj kal ) 7- second hand jawani(cocktail) 8- daru desi (cocktail) 9-pungi baja ke (agent vinod) 10- desi girls (dostana) 11- lucky boy (bachna aye haseeno) 12- say na say na (bluffmaster)
As a 90s kid, I remember the glorious days when we used to flock around those PlanetM's store to buy cassettes and every album, from every film used to be different and so fitting to the mood. Miss those days. Thanks to you for refreshing the memory lane. Keep up
One song which I find really different is hey kay Sera Sera Sara from Pukar...that's a masterpiece from Rahman sir and beautifully voiced by both Kavita ji ajd shankar ji
Haina…. I believe either your vocals have to be faadu ya your music compo must be faadu. With sonu nigam and udit ji you don’t even need music because their voices were only enough. But with Vishal shekhar they just make it up with their AMAZINGGGGG. Compositions that made their songs stand out ❤
The entire Album of the Movie Tum Bin was way way ahead of its time. Koi fariyaad, Tum Bin, Meri Duniya Mai, Chotti Chotti Raatein, Zoom Burbura, Thora Daaru wich pyaar milade. All the songs were way ahead of its time, just can't imagine that these were released 21 years ago in 2001. Sadly they don't make movies and songs like Tum Bin anymore ♥️💔
I am very bad at singing a song with proper lyrics but This album and each line were engraved in my mind. 2 weeks + 1 walkman was all it took. Still wanted to watch it with an equal admirer.
”Piya Basanti”…..”Urvashi” ….”Kabhi Kabhi Aditi”….”Hosanna”…. …were a few among the greatest compositions till date ! ….and of course the “Queen of Indipop” Alisha Chinai, she has given us some fantastic pop numbers…. !!! Not to mention “Nazia Hassan” from Pakistan as it’s a list of music/musical/musicians ahead of their time !!!!!
I think those songs are not ahead of time, but today’s songs are far behind the time. 1995 to 2009 was the golden era for creative music. Both from films and albums.
Jingle Jingle from Badmaash company, Paisa from Super 30, Maiya Maiya from Guru, Matargashti from Tamasha, Maine Jsiko Chaha from Fida (2004), Love ki Ghanti from Besharam, Bichi Padi hai Aashiqui from Kismat (2004), Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Aye Udi Udi from Saathiya and many more but yaad aayenge tab btaunga 🤑🤑🤑
I find “Deewana Dil” from Pardes is very ahead of it’s time. Music build up, production and of course singing . Out of your list I personally love MP3 , everything about the song beside “Humdum Soniyo re”
Bollywood golden music era 2005 to 2012. Because of singers like Sonu, KK, Shaan, Mohit Chauhan, Atif Aslam, Javed Ali, Neeraj Shridhar. and female singer like Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan. And also because of music director like Pritam, Vishal - Shekhar, Himesh Reshammiya.
After reels... My kids are dancing on lots of songs I danced in my childhood..... but as per this list , as a 90s kid I really miss my era of 1995 to 2010.
Totally agree with your list. These songs were superb... I feel Ek pal ka jeena, channa ve ghar aa ja ve, aashiq banaya aapne , aap ki kashish, tere bin by rabbi shergil, bheege honth tere and kaho na kaho (from the movie murder), kya hua jo laree chhootti (from ek chalees ki last local) were also way ahead of their times. In fact most of the songs from early 2000 era were way ahead of it's time
You won't believe all these songs were part of my car playlist back in 2010 except for 2 songs .. and I am gonna play all these today again back to back
Shikdum - Shaan & Shreya Dilbara - Abhijit Crazy Kiya re - Sunidhi Touch Me - KK & Alisha Chinoy Dil Laga Na - Soham & Sukhdev All were masterpieces & ahead of their times...
All these songs are amazing. But you should have also included ye dooriyaan by mohit chauhan & pritam from love aaj kal (2009). That was very well produced and composed, the haah sounds in the start + synth sounds+ beat pattern + electric guitar Appreggios + splash sounds throughout + flute melody & arrangement was a very different. Opera sounds were also used in interlude, also in chorus . Strings were so well arranged. I feel ye dooriyaan deserves to be in this list . Still sounds so fresh!!!
All these songs are still in my playlist. Feels nostalgia. I have danced on most of those songs in my school functions and whenever I listen to those songs it takes me back to my school days. Pure love ❤
I have some French, South American, German plus some more European friends, I introduced them to Dust bahane and they instantly got hooked to Dus Bahane and now they all know complete lyrics of the song and we sing it in every party or get together, the song has even more meaning to me now!
Today's song and today's generation can never beat the 90s era. I have been searching for a long time for someone who is talking on these topics such as music, lyrics, and sound track. Feel happy after watching your video.. Big Thanks.. And as you told songs to remember 90s are Tera chehara by Adnan Sami, Bahara , Aakho ki gustakhiya maaf ho, Chhaiya chahia - train song litterly i was dancing when I was a child
The 2000s is my fav era of bollywood music. They all sound timeless. Even the supposed "trashy remakes" during that era sound far better than what they make today. There was so much soul into music and they still manage to remain in your mind long after the song is over. The song "Sun Ye machalti Ragini" is still one of the best modern musics ever. Also Just listen to : "Kash ke ek din aisa bhi aaye", from Showbiz Or "jaaneja jaaneja" from Zeher Or "Azma luck azma" (its music was stolen and used in a Korean Series) "Deedar De" was so good to listen in its original music. Also all songs of the movie Kaante are still as fresh as before.
True though in 2000's i was not old enough but i have listened all the songs either in tv or me and my brother used to go to cyber cafe to download and cooy paste it in cd
I'm glad I've lived through that era while enjoying that music....most of these songs were in my top songs from that time and are still in my playlist.
though i am not so old, i was born in 2005, still i relate to the music, cuz i heard most of 2000's decades songs after 2010 when we got a computer. I have listened most of the songs there and felt nostalgic. I am definitely adding them to my spotify liked songs.
Koi fariyad is one of the best music i have ever heard Man just listen guitar tune after mukhda 🙌🙌🙌🙌 And this tune is played in different instruments every time
Koi fariyaad is such a masterpiece. A similar *chef's kiss" song is Binte Dil.. I would love to understand how the composers went on to create these!!! 💜
