LuminAI, crafted by Georgia Tech’s Brian Magerko and Milka Trajkova, along with Andrea Knowlton of Kennesaw State University, is an innovative AI system designed for dance collaboration. It learns from a history of human interactions to generate a seamless flow of dance movements. Initially a lab project, LuminAI has transitioned into a valuable tool for dance education and will be highlighted in a pioneering collaborative AI dance performance. The project’s future paths involve improving AI’s collaborative abilities and analyzing complex movement data to benefit athletic performance and wellness.
