My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer they spent weeks doing endless tests and even though they knew time was clicking and my mom would probably die soon they kept her in hospital we couldn't even visit her. My advice is if you have this cancer or know someone who has it, go to a hospital that specializes in cancer or knows what they're doing. my mom was neglected by the medical system

How old was she? My best friend is 36 and was diagnosed 3 weeks ago cause she woke up w abdominal pain and a swollen belly. It was malignant ascites as her first symptom. She is already stage 4. This cancer is horrifying. I am so sorry about your friend.

@@unchargedpickles6372 she was 63 and the mother of 4 boys she’d been in perfectly good health until she suddenly developed symptoms after finding a lump in her stomach, after her death the post Morton revealed it had been coming on for years at least about 20 years which means she could of had it while she was pregnant with her youngest son apparently bile duct cancer is very slow growing.

@Carolyn Aitken how awful! We asked the Oncologist yesterday if this has been going on for awhile but he said in her case the masses in the abdomen are growing so fast there's no way she could've had it very long, maybe only weeks or months.

My best friend is 36. 3 weekends ago she woke up w abdominal pain and a swollen belly...malignant ascites the 1st symptom. She's stage 4 already. It spread to her liver, omentum, ovaries, diaphragm lymph node. It's terrifying.

My mum was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of March and then a week later she got given the Whipple procedure which they removed all of her gallbladder, small part of the stomach, part of the liver, part of the pancreas, and they also took out 20 of surrounding lymph nodes which 7 came back cancerous. Meaning the cancer has spread. The doctors told her that they had a 12 week maximum window for her to start her chemo after the surgery but due to complications she’s still not started chemo, this is going to be the 13th week. She’s starting her chemo within the next 2 weeks so hopefully the cancer has not spread to the lungs or anything else. But due to the cancer being so rare they actually don’t know how to treat it so they are just hoping that this works. We have already been told about her life expectancy which is 2-5 max. I’m pray that they find a treatment for this soon so nobody else will need to go through a loss of a parent, sibling, friend etc etc.

Honestly, if it's stage 4, conventional treatment most likely won't work, at least the kind in America. You have to think outside of the box. Here are some newer ideas:
      - Rick Simpson Oil
      - Joe Tippens Protocol
      - Jane McLelland protocol
      - Dichloroacetate (DCA)
      - Mistletoe Therapy
      - Genomic Testing
It's A LOT to read. But this cancer needs all the effort possible, it's one of the worst. But I have collected a few success stories, and they were all with some other route than standard chemo (though some involved chemo + alternatives). Dichloroacetate (DCA), and Jane McLelland protocol are the ones that had remission success... but I think the others can work if done right or done together. Problem is no one is testing these, and many patients aren't living long enough to discover them. You have to buckle down and research like a mad person.
